I understand that Turkey might not be able to compete for the attach helicopter tender, as they can only offer T-129. However, I don't get why Turkey can't participate in the UAV tender for BAF? Turkey can literally offer a UAV in any class. What are BAF's UAV tender requirements.

What about arial platforms. I find it odd that UAV/attack helicopters haven't been mentioned. Bangladesh is really lacking in the arial sphere.

The current delivery date for Hurjet is 2025. Most of the "fighter version" work is being done in parallel as it has already been stated that the aircraft will be much more than a trainer. In essence, we could see this happen a few years before 2030.

Great - such a capability would get many current TB2 operators to add a few more TB2s to their inventories. It would also kick-start SUNGUR exports and facilitate widespread adoption in many land forces.

Just a thought - what is the likelihood of TB2s being equipped with 2x Sungur under one wing and a enemy arial detection/tracking device of some sort under the other? This would give TB2 operators some much needed A2A capabilities to counter enemy drones, helicopter and low-flying attack...

Russia should be concerned. If their Ukraine ops are not effective they will embarrass themselves again and embolden their enemies. There is a high risk of them running into a wall in Ukraine - poor weather, javelins, inability to establish clear air dominance and lack of precision munitions...

Payload has not taken a hit - that is known. (I am not even sure that CATS is significantly heavier than the competition). The only thing that could be affected would be endurance.
