KAAN has been altered significantly to be able to fit SOM-J. This gives it a huge internal volume. I'm pretty sure it can fit multiple HGK83 or even HGK84 if hardpoint. allows for that weight. Though we haven't seen the final version of the internal bay yet.

Speed isn't that important. B2 can't pass 0.8 mach either, so I hope they optimize the twin engine variant for maximum payload.

Well yes but a quarter of what KAAN can carry may be more than other planes with lower thrust to weight ratio can. At least its got two huge engines. A single engine plane might be even more dependent on Catobar if it isn't magic airframe like Gripen or something
