I saw some of the preliminary (gore) footage and info regarding how they finally got tracked down (supposedly involving the re-activation of one of their "ultra" sat phone sets, that this time Indian forces were prepared for).

No reason for it to be non-continuous (radar here is both the nose and cheek combined into a blob), the issue for all a/c is the non-transparent body (to radar):
The cheek antennas probably already do a large part in extending coverage to 270 deg, as with nose only its likely less than 180...
Indo-China has had a ton of war in 20th century though....really bad blood simmers between a lot of them deep down and also the VN-PRC one that PRC escalated in 79 along with the SCS 9 dash line spratly stuff they assert for no good reason that makes things worse.
Indonesia is just far enough...
I guess both are closely related in their core tech.
The LRAShM is anti ship focused (i.e future navy)
The ET-LDHCM is likely going to be multi platform....i.e TELs and air launch versions as well etc.
Hope they pick some easier monikers later as they mature.

From what I can tell, there was a reporting of "under testing" in ET news article, and then dozens of other websites basically copy paste syndicate it etc and change it to "tested".
What the nature of all that, DRDO has not substantiated, so I would wait and see how it concretely develops with...
