The sea route is much cheaper than land route usually, and also dont forget that Iran is taking very high fees from Turkish goods and drivers passing from its territory.
Turkey farming is incresibly inefficient, what one farmer in developed countries produces takes several farmers in Turkey. Add to that the the products are barely profitable too but yeah lets stop educating people because we are not in a globalized, competitive world...
