I wonder if the indians will have full ip rights or just a unrestrictive user license and local production or whatever they come up with as i expect the indians will just front the money for safran to develop the engine but doubtful that the french would give them all the rights to the engine...
yes at least a year old if not older. gezgin development is nearing completion since they already started mass equal capsule ejection from our underwater test platform.
the engines of our f16 are not usable on kaan no matter what you do. We have enough engines for our prototypes. Apg 85 has delays because its to big for the f35 not because of production delays.
true you dont need civilian certification like with TS1400 but it still needs to fulfill the requirements and acceptance test of the TurAf and they wont use the engine unless its finished and safe.
there is no Fast tracking anything if f110 are not delivered than there will be no deliveries until TF35K is ready for service which will not happen before 2033 if not later. The timeline as it stands now is already very optimistic we haven't even ignited the engine yet i would be more than...
Its true but they would then just make their own seat so not really worth it. The only critical component is the engine and even if its not delivered they would just continue developing it so the airframes that would come with domestic engines would not lack anything.
Well if we take Turkey as a benchmark with similar or worse/better experience in aircraft development its possible but hard. The first part was produced in late November 2021 and made its first flight in February 2024 so roughly 25 months but this was actually a prototype for ground test it was...
I know its bought with Saudi/Qatari/Gulf money but still sad that they get these new vehicles and our army still uses old M113 and ACV15 and neither buys new nor upgrades the old stuff. Its not a money problem as navy buys more or less anything it wants basically no vision.
I wonder what our MLU for our ada is going to look like with all the different offerings we have.
And does anyone have any idea what the status of our OPV construction is?
