You should care what they are thinking about you. They don't make a distinction between Turks and Muslims. To Europe, they are not mutually exclusive. To be a Turk is to be a Muslim, despite whatever protestation you want to make to the contrary. They don't care.

That would only help the police identify them and give them medals.

You'll never have unity between majority-Muslim nations, and you'll never be accepted by the Christian/atheist western plebiscite, like some of the people in this thread, who seriously think that they're part of the state machinery and agenda, instead of being the meat that gets ground within it.
