I saw the thread of this title. Three thoughts came to mind -
I had already read about the plan to build a security fence around Gwadar. I thought this was a sterling good idea. Seal the damned city and don't let anything suspicious in. Personally I would ban anybody with a beard or a burqa...
Managed [I had volunteered to sign and give my time to NHS Support Responders during lockdown which entailed delivering medication, food parcels to vulnerable groups which I think gave me the computational points to qualify] to get hold of NHS Antibody test. I think I got coronavirus back in...
One of the greatest mysteries yet to be found other than if there are 72 virgins waiting for should take the right step is -
If Pakistan has indeed illegally occupied Indian land then given the fact that India has nearly seven times greater population resource why has she not grabbed the land...
Sorry mate, not had time to reply. Not had much time and what I had I indulged in blood sport, a rare opportunity. Over in another forum I taunted and goaded the Oily Arab worshippers. Once it was reliogion to worship them but with the tectonic shifts takling place and Israel being recognized, I...
Few thoughts -
thank you EU for exposing this
now I know when I mention my parents are frm Pakistan I get a *look*.
always felt Pakistan got a rotten public image. No doubt the country has some ugly warts [which country does not?] but reality never matched the image.
A dead professor and numerous defunct organisations were resurrected and used alongside at least 750 fake media outlets in a vast 15-year global disinformation campaign to serve Indian interests, a new investigation has revealed.
The man whose identity was stolen was regarded as one of the...
This is about trust. Do we as citizens trust our health officials or not. I happen to trust the NHS. And I have implicit trust in the system that is now delivering this life saver to the vulnerable and wqeak. We lost nearly 60k people in UK. There is always going to be conspiracy theorists.

Falkland Islands [Isles Malvinas] are literally on the front door of Argentina at barely 20 minutes by air. On the other hand they are over 8,000 miles and probably 15 hours flight time from UK. Even the long rage RAF Vulcans had to refuel at Ascention Islands.
Insofar as Galtieri needing to...
You know one of my high school class mates [ 1976-79] fought in this war. Lost both legs. Came back a cripple. Eventually got married. Wife left him and in his 40s he killed himself with over dose. Wars are tragic affairs and suffering can play out decades later.
Thank you Professor Ugur Sahin [believe he is of Turkish extraction] for the vaccine. The first truck loaded with vaccines bound for UK has left the Belgium facility.
I know facts don't go to well with sounbites and propaganda but note a few facts here. Britain and Germany are roughly the same population. 55 versus 80 million. And Britain was global power.
Secondly. Argentina has population of 44 million and only marginally smaller than UK. To compensate...
What a fantastic day. Today we learn that UK will begin roll out of vaccine which means this is begining of the end of this corna nightmare. Personally with parents over 80 I am overjoyed. We have lost nearly 60k people in UK. However for all that I just feel United Kingdom will come out more...
Yes, they were considered 'elite'. There are other elite schools in the country mostly Church Convent schools ran by Catholic Nun orders or British era grammar or cadet schools. But I believe the Pak-Turk schools provided quality education at affordable rates in areas lacking good schools. Also...
I don't have a real informed opinion on these "Gulen" schools which I think went under the style "Pak-Turk" schools. I do think whatever education they were providing was above average but since Turkey raised objections Pakistan went along and rightly.
Even the worse Turkish religious education...
