F16 is an allrounder. But we chose to go with EF because we don't want to be dependent on French whims. The past says it all.
Also given how the battlefield is changing I believe TAF has made their decision, and I'd like to believe it was the case ever since Qatar stationed some of their EF in...

Wouldn't adding small wings to the structure be possible where the pods can be added. To avoid any mainframe damage when cirits are launched.
Granted it doesn'require structural stress test and all the crap.
If it does mounted 12,7mm from the door will have to do.
I wish we were able to produce some of the parts Spain wants cheaper, this they'd pick ours. But I think it's just as much an investment into keeping the know how and capabilities alive in Spain.
I think what he meant was using expensive missiles for short range is ridiculous. Hence why it would be better to have shorad type using sungur and such missiles which are cheaper to make.

Is this going to pose a problem for TOGG. Personally I don't mind the Chinese getting restricted brutally.
Especially considering their way of doing business.
Either way, it's necessary to think of counter measures. Finding out from where the drones come is important. Don't forget that Ukraine is capable of hitting targets quite deep in Russia.
So we need to have proper surveillance/ radar system and monitoring in place.
Passive radar range extenders.
You don't necessarily have to deal with it, just find out where it comes from and track it.
Then you can work on developing quad rotary drones with jamming devices or such to hunt down drones. And have them placed where military says they should be.
Find drone >...
Yes, but we also need passive radar extenders along borders and such. That can detect and report. I am certain drones are going to be a massive tool for terrorists in the future, especially if they can get them cheap enough
Sustainability is still key, and being ruthless enough to have deterrent is crucial.
But I think it's a mistake to build too much and too fast too. Especially considering how battlefields are changing with drones and all that. Having drone hunters has become a must.
So the AD vessels...
The cost of maintaining such a fleet sounds expensive.
But if all TF2000 are equivalent to heavy class Frigates, would it still be costly to maintain ?
Don't they have keel laying ceremony as proof of the project starting ?
I mean why the bragging of having 30 naval vessels project being worked on at the same time, wouldn't it make more sense to spread it out and deliver them on time.
