I don't think diehl has anything to do with us. 1.6 billion dollar is total amount of NATO land strike procurement(including 155mm, Kara Atamca, barracuda-500 etc.). Our deal is with Roketsan, Diehl could be taking part in Co-production of other missiles or 155mm production unrelated to us

That makes sense. I wasn't talking about selling it to NATO anyway but more like "we are developing NATO capability" sense. Like Kara Atmaca and Aselsan radar deal announcement. Do we gain anything from funding this or just brownie points?

Maybe it has something to do with Alp-200A agreement with Aselsan signed last idef. That is an air early warning radar after all and these announcment seems very vague. I doubt we would buy Saab Globaleye
