This is a easily relocatable point defense system, it's not designed to move around when fighting like Korkut or Hisar-A. Gürz will be mainly for installation defence. Think bases on the periphery, Syria, Somalia, Libya.
229% increase in TRY value from this year to end of 2029. TRY=USD parity they took for end of 2029 I think is about 80TRY, so not much increase as I see it in USD terms.
Yup. And on these last photos, radar placement at the back is different than all that was shown so far. We have like 7 different radar placements on Gürz over the years. Most probably they have issues with coverage and interference from other sensors, trying to come up with the least bad solution.
Photos are very interesting. This might be the 5th Gürz variant we saw over the years. Not different variants or models but placement of the systems. They change continuously. It still doesn't look like a final product. All that workload of multiple sensors and weapons systems being offloaded...
Lots of AI usage, we shouldn't take it as gospel. ASOJ being on a Saab 2000 like their AWACS is also interesting. PK-ASOJ program was signed last year I think. No details whatsoever on it for now.
I'm unsure if the systems shown on video are from Pakistan. They look like promo videos Aselsan shared earlier. But definitely already in service or they will be in near future.
You are looking at the Chinese setup from an American centric viewpoint. They have 3 types of VLS in service. Older Soviet revolver style, Mk-41 adjacent one and the new universal one. The one we could call an Mk-41 equivalent was placed on Type 054 frigates. Older Type 052Cs all use the Soviet...
So this is indeed happening. 2 Istanbul bridges and 10 highways to be privatized for 30 years. These are all infrastructure that was paid and built by public funds and our taxes paid for their construction and operation for decades. Now we will be asked to pay exorbitantly increased fees to use...
A Gecko, Shilka and Buk together with a generator cart. All air defence. Probably don't even run, but good ganimah. Wouldn't be surprised if Israel hits them if they want to further escalate.
Pilot training in UK to start next week.

First Claw seen with a F-16D B40M. This aircraft used to fly under 132 Daggers, so we can indeed say 133 was born out of 132. I also now see the dagger the bird is holding on the first patch; must be a reference as well.
Japanese, South Korean, Turkish Warships Under Consideration for New U.S. Frigate Competition
"...Three sources told USNI News that the international designs under consideration include the export version of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries’ FFM Mogami-class guided-missile frigate and the...
Tanks on Vatan Street don't make sense, our tanks don't have rubber tracks. No BMs. There was supposed to be a parade in Ankara too, don't know what happened to it.
4 Pars Scouts from Vatan Street celebrations.
2 8x8 at front. ACV on left, recce vehicle on right.
2 6x6 versions at the back. ACV/command vehicle on left, radar vehicle on right.
