Vaccine hesitancy is actually fairly low in India (around 20% and quite likely even lower now with the 2nd wave crisis) compared to even developed world (they tend to be 30%+). India vaccine rate progress is OK (all things considered), it is approaching 150 million doses and will soon be 200...

Let me tell you one thing about a lot of journalists/media (and all who do the tragedy porn reel). They are vapid soulless people that feed on misery of others....just so they can pontificate and virtue signal w.r.t others in their elitist bubbles that may or may not see eye to eye with them on...

Emotions are running high understandably. I will wait sometime, maybe a month or so to see how things settle w.r.t relations with US. I will say this, Trump said the quiet part out aloud. It wasn't what he was saying, it was the fact he said out aloud that upset "the establishment"....because...

The govt has been amply criticized for its actions as it should be. It is not a new thing by any stretch, almost every govt where these foreign media houses (in the west) are located have done the same thing w.r.t "twitter rules" as they apply to collective defamation and so on. US media...

Reminds me of myself a bit lmao....

Ironic "Free speech" is being brought up in a "CGTN-China" thread. Is twitter even allowed in PRC? (Way past what multiple govts/admins do vis a vis reporting posts?) To this day, PRC regime prints the face of a person on its currency that led to the deaths (in most gruesome ways, mostly...

There is also lot of faulty reporting going on (from all ends during a tragedy, given scale of India). Anyway that is for later to analyse as the situation is just started (and likely lasts about 2 weeks - month at least)...as to what the crematoria numbers even are (since smaller ones that...

Bro, well then you just pick which you like better :) ...it is after all which one you overall prefer most of the time etc. I like tea too, but I picked coffee ...lot of people have picked one even while liking the other, if its close enough then you pick "like both" etc.

It wasn't me (I honestly didn't notice when I was replying what the specific titles were). But the forum policy is to use the title of the article you post at the start of thread (from NYT). If you want to focus on another issue, then its best you lead with that particular article (with such...
