*Lives in Oz*...hurdehurrrr... Do you hold onto your vegemite jar extra tight at night? :D

That is one really broad thing to get further into, especially Halder's crucial mistakes (though many in hindsight) once the operation was committed to. Suffice to say Germany did not help matters by engaging in extreme evil with its armed forces (and related directives and strategies for the...

. "Next year august LCA mk2 will roll out"...lot of other details in this video. Will archive/organise ~early feb... into two broad threads (mk1/A and mk2/tedbf)...will have dedicated AMCA thread too (and I will split off the stealth drones to larger drone thread I think) Any input on this...

There should be a reply box at bottom of each thread. Or you can hit reply on bottom of a post if you want to reply to it directly etc.

Oh I know, this is a deeper vein. We are the same people Joe, deep down. How wonderful yet poignant for me to read some of your messages to the Bangladeshis in PDF. If "we" are able to survive our leaders, "they" will all survive theirs too. More broadly it is human spirit from how we are...

Had a bet going on with some fellow mods you would make me chuckle...and you didn't disappoint. When @Oublious said " I really don't understand how they did found each others."....I also wondered how he found this one to begin with heh... BTW browsing the other place you made me giggle quite a...

To some level I agree, but each society's elitists finds the specific frog slow boil zone....where things are pretty gross but not enough to really get people to rise up and cause a revolution (if that's the final thing we are implying here w.r.t people being the ultimate source of political...

@Joe Shearer Did you know that Winnie almost had his tickets checked near end of the war by German artillery? (and he enjoyed it!)

Highlights in order (might have missed some)...I jotted as I watched live: Arrival and tribute protocols: PM, Amar Jawan Ceremony + President Contingent Marches: Bangladesh (Visiting) (61st) Indian Cavalry regiment one of last (serving) horse-mounted cavalry in world Equipment parade: T-90...

Because of one big issue: Mig-29K. This is what was/is pushing the rafale-M and SH requirement (along with 2nd carrier need dawning) . They (Migs) are not faring well in operational readiness (and this can hold up or compromise desired schedule/operation of the air craft carrier as a whole at...

Good morning!......and in case I don't see ya, Good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight. :D

My personal favourite song for the occasion:

Warmest greetings and wishes to everyone (Indians and well-wishers alike) on today's Republic Day 🇮🇳 JAI HIND. Republic Day ceremony and parade will be broadcast live later in day: The broadcast should archive as video too for post-watching. If not I will update it then.

Is there good concrete thread here with say Turkish white paper on the navy strategy up to say 2030, 2040 and 2050? Like what is the strategy going to involve and would aircraft carrier really fit in it compared to more frigates, corvettes and submarines etc (as far as ships go)? (This was part...

I think this is part of that JNU arranged program (maybe an extended follow up or something) with the greek politicians etc...the one that got the country shape wrong for Turkey on the flyer (it was bulgaria lol)...

Yup this is basically it...knowing what your actual expertise is and sticking to your lane (rather than crazed nut driving all over the place) after retirement. i.e a basic sense of professionalism. Some of our veterans are equally top class chaps on TV (mostly quiet and just come for an...

Thanks...a part of me dies each time when someone says Test Cricket is boring haha. That whole final day kept me pretty glued...you never knew what was really going to happen for bulk of it, you just had to see it through. Late night for me heh.

Anyway its off topic my friend. Kaptaan is correct our (Indian) reference point should be countries/entities like China and US and EU...wr.t economy and also other matters commensurate to their success. I also disagree with you that countries all get the leaders they deserve. I know too many...
