Yes this seem to be the other one listed in the previous pic as "GOKTUG" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G%C3%96KTU%C4%9E

LMAO, that is totally something I can see him doing. He's a good chap....you are lucky to have as friend.

It is something I would rather chat with the actual Turks about. They actually have an old name in History you see. Void (establishment + psyche wise) countries between Persia (space tier achieved) and India (space tier achieved)....meh. Too much downstream babble....like the Qasim canon in...

Nice! thats cool you are buds with him hah. He is one of the guys I would love to meet and shake his hand, he has produced some excellent chess and is very nice personality too. The top Chess guys I have chatted with at some length online are GM Atalik (Turkey), GM Svidler (Russia) and GM...

Gonna tag Joe "I Read HISTORY!" Shearer hehe for his perusal at his leisure when he pops by next .... his head won't hurt this time since the thread is historical stuff heh (it's in the title even!). @Joe Shearer

Bro, you forgot the obligatory sunglass viva-viet emote 😎 cept we dont have pink one here lol. Tell him I said hi when you see him next.

This is related news: https://apnews.com/article/aad45a6f2de8d599d97242394be65923 It was actually referenced in a few books I have on the world's submarines.

As king's indian proponent myself, sure is nice to see radjabov back to top tier in last cpl years or so, he had near meteoric rise in the 2000s i remember, and then kind of fell off the radar a bit, great to see him achieve at very highest level again. He was very emotional on this win, it was...

It is very pricey to go double hull for what you get in the end. Design driver for typhoon was the immense huge SLBMs it carried (picked that size and range to outrange the ohio's) and they designed outwards from it basically to this immense size Sub for it. But essentially you pay 2 - 2.5...

I was just thinking out loud...light fighter/trainer, say dedicated CAS + ground attack role with full other sensors and datalink etc (jaguar-S for example lacked radar and put other sensor to have no chance to be detected by its radar emission since it would be handled by quaterback like an...

Yah its true. Though INA will have to balance with environmental protection etc and also eco-tourism potential....given what is involved converting land to farming use (Brazil is finding out lot of areas it has over-expanded) and given INA pristine heritage for this. I feel INA has not...

Oh yep you are right haha. OEC has that listed under "vegetable products" If we combine foodstuffs + vegetable products + animal products Indonesia total export comes to: 9 + 3 + 4 = 16 billion total import comes to: 8 + 7 + 3 = 18 billion So about trade deficit of about 2 billion if we...

Yah because at OEC: https://oec.world/en/profile/country/idn The foodstuffs (in 2018) was about 9 billion export and 8 billion import. More or less I would say Indonesia is self sufficient from a trade standpoint. I would say its sovereign nation in food already. (I think I understand what...

If Ayub Khan era was really a golden era of some sort, it would hold up in some basic numbers and facts past the veneer (this is a separate longer topic). It doesn't. Especially when you account for what it lost in terms of Jute export from its Eastern Wing, earnings of which that it unfairly...

Largest submarines ever made. Complements largest battleship ever made already in this thread. 8.25 min mark... resonant interactions "propping" up again literally...heh @anmdt Whole video is worth a watch tho, interesting details and perspectives. Example: 24 minute mark what kind of...

I understand the vein she is coming from (though I wouldn't phrase exactly like her). It is complicated issue I was just talking about earlier in day with a friend (as to what would China today look like if KMT won somehow for example) i.e what is the statist psyche inherent in a civ, what is...

I think I have explained myself (as to what I mean by "tolerate"). I will word myself better next time. To me "a threat" doesnt exist from mod. They can give warnings (which wasn't even the case here) and delete posts (again not the case here)....if done unfairly those can be seen as threats...

It is a flawed opinion (though I guess every opinion is intrinsically flawed in the end, the scale and severity is up for debate). Why? Because its obvious you haven't studied or read up on Bangladesh to the detail needed. Thus you dismiss someone out of hand by Bangladesh media "press...

Maybe a different role assigned? There is advantage sometimes to having no radar.
