I follow British foreign policy. Britain was the first to understand where the EU, led by Germany, was heading and decided to take a different path. (And, indeed, with the onset of Russian aggression in Ukraine, the Germans too began to think that without security there can be no freedom.)
After the collapse of the USSR, it was at a crossroads for a long time – right up until Brexit – whether to follow the convenient, so to speak, Dutch-Swedish path or continue to compete in the “major league”.

Oralarda neler oluyorda böyle davranmaya başladır. Tek dert Rusya mı ? Eğer öyleyse İngiltere neden askeri açıdan küçülmeye gidiyor. Almanyanın savaşa hazırlık oranı çok düşük. Savaş olacaksa Polonya gibi askeri harcamaları artması gerekmez mi ?

My Turkish sucks so ill answer in english.
Russia is the main problem,they know they can never beat Russia on their own in a war scenario.
They need our armed forces which has tremendous experience in warfare.
Then there is the Turkish defence industrial capacity,all our weapon systems and platforms are at least NATO standard.
Germany is prioritizing the Armed Forces(arming up),at least $100 billion for the coming years so your assumption about Germany is wrong.
I heavent heard anything about the UK shrinking the Armed Forces. @boredaf @Yasar_TR abi?

What he said is true GB is effectively reducing its capacity not by large scale but still most of their budget is going towards the navy similar with the French. Germany says they want to expand but yet have failed to do so in large scale in 4 years. Only Poland is doing good buying what is available and good enough that’s why they are buying from Korea and US only they have large scale production the rest of nato except maybe for us is small

Germany doesnt buy,it is going to produce inhouse and Germany is bringing back compulsory military service.
