Brain drain, what a shame.
Not necessarily, they get experience overseas and then you could get them back with some tempting incentives for career progression.

Of course it would be a lot better if Turkey's educational institutions and work opportunities were good enough not to require the nation's best and brightest to head overseas to maximize their potential but what can you do.

Trying to find the “love it“ or “hate it” emojis hiding somewhere behind the “like” button. Is that an option for a priviledged few, or am I lost? Some of us like to live at the extremes you know;)

Serious, guys!
Hold the mouse or the dart on 'like' ,they pop up.

@LegionnairE

As much as I like you and respect your opinion. We will never forget what TSK did to our people. You defend our TSK, which is good and fine, but never forget all the coups. All the innocent, poor equipped, poor trained young Turks, they pushed to dead against PKK, to have the martyrs, just to say, you need us (TSK) to fight the terrorist. Most of the young Turks were Alevis, 18-19 years old. They hunted us like animals. Tortured and killed and prisoned us. Just because of different political viewings. I can tell you many horrible stories from my families.

These times are over. Thanks to AKP.

If I could bring Kenan Evren back, I would. Great guy.

He could have been Turkey's Franco. He could have ruled this country until he died.

Instead he retired and went back to painting. These leeches would repeat elections, do anything to keep sucking the blood of this nation.

I make a lot of people butthurt, you know how it goes :)

They could ban me, delete my posts or whatever. I don't care. I know that I'm right.

Honestly, I just came back to make fun of @Nutuk :D

Kenan Evren was also good friends with Zia Ul Haq.

It is said that Kenan Evren thought about a nuclear weapons program for Turkey in secret.

I would know how to handle you but you should not mistake this forum for WAFF where there is no moderation and rules at all where trolls can highjack the whole purpose of the forum.

Stay within the rules of the forum, don't make it a mess for others.

He's frustrated with the current situation. Not that I can fault him. I do dream of death sentences and such, but that's probably because of all the corruption that's going on. Bloodcurling clean up is necessary considering the level of corruption we are seeing in broad daylight.

The problem is, if you seek to balance your politics, but the extremists on either side keep pulling outwards, you'll still have inbalance.

The problem is democratic, people without knowledge turn to blind faith. My father is like that. His answer to my questions are "The government knows better".

People like that are out of reason and reach. If you keep sending your nationalists /Patriots to the frontlines the rotten part will stay behind, survive and grow.

So I think conscription should be apply to all male and female age 18 in Turkey. And no one should be exempted unless they are crippled.

I believe that if they serve in frontlines even Peace spring Shield area, flying bullets, explosions etc. will teach the rotten apple what they truly should be grateful for.

I call that reality check. I don't believe that amicable policies is going to keep a coalition in power for long as they are too various and divided to truly get a majority as AKP has enjoyed.

EDIT: I should add, all voters must go up personally and cast their votes, if you can't go to vote, you don't get to vote.
