Somehow every time Reddit does one of these, Turkiye has the biggest and most well maintained spot.

One of my favourite movies of all time!
The 1st time seeing a movie like this (going in blind regarding the story etc) is the most unique compared to later watches.....the movie hinges entirely on the immense plot twist disguised so well all through it.

Where in the treaty does it say it expires after 100 years?

Honestly this lausanne treaty expires is meme material but nost Turks dont realise it.

Thank God its not global or we would be a laughing stock.

Global meme community mocked India with the Superpower 2020 meme.

Haha yes sorry it was a joke. There is a common belief that this is holding us back, it's very funny

Why do so many Turks regardless of ideology and political affilations love believing in such trashy conspiracy theories especially regarding history.

Honestly Im wondering what do they teach in schools if most of the population believe in such crap.

Because those believing it didn’t do much of school to begin with.

Paranoia. Excessive, but well-placed paranoia.

Even the outsiders are vaguely aware of this:

Government promotes conspiracies, they are very catchy. See QAnon.

I watched this video before I guess it does explain a lot of stuff.

History cant be ignored and explains why Turks in general dont trust outsiders or foreigners in general.
