They just made it infinitely worse, i didnt care at first that they dont publish Atatürk docu but now putting that moron as replacement is down right insult.

I guess Ataturk is not politically correct enough to warrant a film from Disney.

I say the better that they dont touch our history then again Turkish cinema has desecrated our history with Osman and Ertugurl. Everything is fair game.

Lets not forget Payithat lmaoo

Jokes aside, does Turkish flag's red colour symbolise martyrs blood?
For example, the red circle in middle of BD's flag symbolises our martyrs blood and sacrifice.

Yes it does. Crescent-star is said to be about how a crescent and star was reflected upon the pooled blood after a battle, most commonly thought of as the battle of kosovo, idk which one. But a more realistic take would be that it is a pretty common symbol, from ancient mesopotamia to byzantines to some Turkish tribes such as Türgiş tribe.

The Crescent-star that is found on the Turkish flag originated with the Greek goddess Artemis as it was her symbol. Artemis was the patron goddess of the City of Byzantines, when the Romans turned the city into their new capital, they renamed the city Nova Roma, and the symbol became associated with imperial authority as it was the symbol of Nova Roma. When the ottomans Turned the city, their capital sultans declared that their empire was the continuation of the Roman empire thus the symbol of Roman was adopted as the symbol of the Ottomans.

Crescent symbol has a deep past in the near-east. After all, that's what you'll be seeing when you look up at night. It's only natural. But early islamic society put extra emphasis on purging such symbols. Remember, the chief idol that was destroyed by the prophet was a moon god.

My conclusion is that the symbol is widespread, but Turks used their own version throughout their history.

This bullshit about that symbol being taken from some gay greek god makes me angry. "Oh your national symbol is just not your creation haha". This is just a cheap trick to deconstruct and destroy our national and ethnic identity, no matter how much it is disguised as stentorian, sesquipedalian academic gobbledygook cooked up by westoids. OUR FLAG IS OURS SO SUCK IT SNOW MAGGOTS

Crescent is only being used Turks and areas that have been subject to its empires so im not sure whether we can call it an islamic sign, its more a Turkic symbol than anything else.

yes, the symbol was used by Turks in the past and by other groups but the Ottoman adoption of it is due to two factors one a legend about Osman the First's dream, and because it was the symbol of Rome and the Ottomans thought of themselves as the continuation of Rome. the Ottomans were forcing Caesar not Constantinople to stop calling themselves Roman for a while before they conquered Istanbul.

Culture is something that is tied down to one group it is something that evolves over time from different cultures coming together and exchanging ideas, for example, Greek culture gets most of its roots from the middle east.

The Crescent-star wasn't an Islamic symbol but there was a legend has it that Osman I put a crescent on the top of a mosque after he had a dream that he believed to be a vision. The Crescent-star is associated with the Islamic world mostly because it was used by the Ottomans.

Disney will just ruin anything it touches, especially w.r.t something regarding wars and country founding etc.

They went out of their way to sissify Star Wars for pete's sake...Lucas literally gave them a much better screenplay for the newer stuff that they just ignored (but still own the IP so wont release it either etc)....and I doubt the Lucas stuff was really any good anyway (given what he did to the original stuff when revisiting it etc)....but it would have been way better than what disney crapped out in the end.

No country should collaborate or promote anything to do with Disney or any hollyweird studio these days more broadly when it comes to their wars and country foundation, ethos etc. Its a bunch of ingrates and degenerates there regarding their own country....why would that suddenly improve for another unless theres some victimisation to be expanded on foreign shores.

The US deep state is playing an evil game in large number of its factions. Hence responsible countries with enough social conservatism residing within them must be attuned to this in sufficient degree and not become the next lab experiments, when they are still in precarious state on many things themselves.
