The defence of Medina is a story that became the symbol of how Islam and our Prophet's name should be defended regardless of the enemy, the circumstances and the hard situation.

Fahreddin Paşa, the Tiger of the Desert was sent to Medina in 1916 and took the task of defending the holy city of Medina till 1919.

He not only defended Medina, but also governed the holy city with justice. The same city where Lawrence was conspiring together with our enemies in the name of a couple Arab tribes against the Ottoman State, while our ancestors were besieged.

While the siege on Medina was tightening, Fahreddin sent all of the holy items there to Istanbul, under the protection of 2.000 men, a force which was very important for his army and capability.

After he evacuated the holy items he concentrated all his will and force for the defending of Medina. Due to the fact that Medina was besieged by our enemies and their helpers no supplies, no food and no weapons or ammunition reached Fahreddin Paşa. The Tiger defended Medina for 2 years and 7 months under these hardships.

Do you know how he responded to the countless calls for surrender by the Istanbul Government pressured by the enemy? He gathered his soldiers and the people of Medina and said:

O, people! I want you to know that my heroic soldiers will defend the place that Islam laid its back on, the source of spiritual power and the jewel of the Khilafah, Medina till the last bullet and the last drop of blood.

He did it in the fashion of a true Muslim and a Turkish soldier! With the faith of Allah in his heart, the thoughts of our Prophet, he visited the grave of Muhammad whenever he had the opportunity.

He talked to the Prophet saying:

O, Prophet! You see the ones fighting for you and the ones fighting against you. Bring the help of God to us!

We know very well the secret agendas of the ones opening their mouth against this great resistance and we know very well what they are conspiring against us. We know very well the agendas of the ones that pretend to be Muslims while commit and support heinous crimes against the humanity, the ones trying to portray us to the world like terrorists and dishonoring every real Mujahid's struggle by not abide to the law of war. These are the trangressors, the honorless and the weak.

Fahrettin Paşa was a Mujahid, but certainly not a pedophile, suicide bomber or a drug trafficker as some people including in the forum try to portray the Mujahid as.

Every drop of sweat and blood of the Turkish soldier defending Medina is a honor for this Nation.

I want to commemorate the 76th anniversary of Fahreddin Paşa leaving this world. May Allah accept the martyrdom of all our soldiers making the ultimate sacrifice!

I’m not a physicist nor a SW engineer, just a humble computer end user. Yet, even I have some idea what this computer is about

Check this out. Funny AF 😁

Radiator, vileda stick, model kit, sheet metal profile and now chandelier.

Turkey's first quantum computer, QuanT, was likened to a chandelier.
Unfortunately we harbour a lot of eziks in Türkiye and abroad. Some, even call themselves Turks.
Many think their made-up dream of a country is on par with Türkiye so they can't stand anything positive about it.

Bro I agree that we Turks, in general have an inferiority complex and it’s legendary. But I am not really sure what bothers me most honestly. Their inferiority issues or insult oozing comments which are dead giveaway of their ignorance? 😵💫

This is perfectly normal because people who immigrate are held to high standards whereas people born there are not. The diffrrences between individual minorities is more interesting, but have multiple cultural reasons. India for instance has very high inner competition due to the countries very large population and very uneven wealth distribution so they work very hard to study good and go to other counties to have better life standards. Several other countries have similar story, but India is much larger, so lets say 1% of smartest young people there would be a 10 times largee group, etc. For most cultures there are also thinga like protecting and hiring their own. Some groups are less likely to do so.
