Back in the day, when I was a teen, me and my body were strolling around Taksim district, Beyoğlu to be precise. As teenagers with testosterone overflowing, we were looking for ways to sneak into some certain movie theaters to watch dirty flicks
Anyway, we’ve seen poster on a marquee. Dünyayı Kurtaran Adam! Starring Cüneyt kickass Arkın. Next thing, we were in the theater.
The rest is history and to this day, I’m proud to tell everywhere that I was there when history made

A Great White Shark caught in Istanbul in the 1960s.

I hope the shark population can rebound in Turkiye. They are my favourite animals.

Its really sad how Istanbul had a population of them. As usual we humans love wiping out anything that moves.
