As the election draws nearer, the CHP's promises are becoming even more crazier by the moment.
Now they are promising to distribute and empty the gold of the treasurery to each and every individual... just like... woow

That part of statement is a bit stupid but he is talking about something else. Every family who earns less than one full republic gold, as total income will be given aid to match it to that value of that. It's like universal basic income indexed to gold. Using the gold reserves of TCMB for that purpose is not meaningful however.

It seems that Erdogan has been on a spree rolling out the opening ceremonies of multiple projects worth billions here and there throughout Turkey for the past 2 weeks. However, I dont think it will help him that much tbh

All you are talking in vain.

Onion was 1 lira 2 years ago. People are unable to buy their basic needs.
Bullshit. The West thinks attacking Turkey's economy will bring about Erdogan's demise. They failed via the coup. Now they are trying this. If they fail, maybe the next is to instigate a color revolution or something. My prayers are for Erdogan. And Insha Allah, he will be successful.

On my way home from work today, I bought onions for 15 liras at a chain market on the Asian side of Istanbul. ( Salkım tomatoes is 15 liras, potatoes 10 liras. Lemon is 10 liras. Hayvani inflation in capia pepper continues, it was 60 liras, so I didnt buy it.) Outside of Istanbul it is probably in the range of 10-12. I think there is no way it can be 30 liras in the bazaar. I wonder which bazaar it really is. Under normal conditions, even 15 lira onion is a reasonable reason for the government to change. I'm not arguing that, but this label seems to me to be exaggerated.

I saw in chain markets for 26 liras in about a week ago.(in Antalya)

Onion prices usually changes drastically within the year depends on the season. It was usually just below 3 - 4 liras at max and then 1 lira again. So if you saw 15 liras now, it is not exaggerated.(this is old enough news that there might a price drop) And again, i saw the 26 lira price tag myself as well.

Antalya is one of the centers of greenhouse production. If even the price range there is this high, I am afraid that there will be no slowdown in fruit and vegetable inflation in the summer.

Antalya is also hosts lots of Russians and Ukrainians. Prices are already inflated a lot(probably higher than Turkiye's standart). I don't even want to speak about the rents) So there might be that as well.

Scientists from Konya have invented the Nano digital voter ballot and will be able to make changes on the ballot after 17:00.

As I said in my previous post, the opposition has gone full mental mate
Rn, their election campaign is based on the motto of"obtain as many votes as you can no matter what is the price"
You want election fraud, here it ie
You wanna see angels from the sky, we the CHP will do it
You wanna be rich, we the CHP will empty the treasury for each of you

You guys really think Erdogan suddenly started to mismanage the government in the past few years despite building Turkey's economy from the ground up just a decade ago? You don't even investigate for signs of an economic attack? The clues are all over if only you care to look. Things started going south in 2011 - 2012 when the Arab Spring started, and Erdogan supported it. Democracy in the Middle East is a mortal threat to the U.S. economy. I haven't the spec of a doubt Turkey is under a heavy U.S. economic attack. But I'm confident Erdogan will win and pull the country through this economic assault by the West. It's the their last chance now, so they are doing all they can secretly to bring the economy down so Erdogan losses the election. How can a leader who performed wonderfully for decades (starting from Istanbul) suddenly start failing? It's not natural.

Maybe he didn't performed wonderfully as you think and this is the end result.

You have to build your economy within consideration of outside attack if you are claiming to be a world leader.

The danger, only common law argument from Halkbank was not thrown out, 5 other arguements for immunity disposed, meaning lower court has to do this last one and then the supreme court takes the case against Halkbank and will issue sanctions.

For common law, it is unlikely Halkbank wins.

Even Erdogan was implicated in buying Iranian gold as part of the Iranian operation.

With the announcement of the news, corporates rushed to Halkbank shares. It went through the roof in a 15-minute. Halkbank was already priced at a huge discount, it seems to have broken its chains.

It is a big gamble that this final argument can be won. Big pay off though

Or maybe because it is being misrepresented in domestic news:

Either way Erdogan has been trying to bury this and it's coming back up just in time for elections.

I said it a million times before that the CHP will destroy the Turkish defence industry one way or another and many in this forum attacked me like Manomed and I love f16 stating that this is just AKP propaganda even though history says otherwise

Now we have got this gentlemen👇

That is why I dont like Kilicdaroglu and I believe that he will plunge the country into even more chaos! Why do you ask? Simply enough, because he is both an idiot and a third rate clown/politician.
Kilicdaroglu doesnt even know the basics of the country that he is supposed to rule for gods sake. This is what he said in the article👇

"Why? They might sell it to the Americans tomorrow. Or give it to the Qataris as we have given the tank-pallet factory to the Qataris. Impossible. In all democracies and authoritarian regimes of the world, the defence industry must walk together with the state."

Ladies and gentlemen, We are gonna leave the country to someone who doesnt even know the pure basics of the defence industry......
1- he doesnt know that all of the most notable companies like BOEING are privately owned
2- he doesnt know that there are tools known as export controls and export permits that limit the flow of sensitive products

But nope, lets leave a multi-billion dollars defence industry in the hands of kilicdaroglu since he will screw it up..... No wonder the West supports that clown.... he will bring Turkey's demise from within just like with the refugees on AKP's part

Is that bozo still going on about the tank-pallet factory? Ugh.
We didnt give it to the Qataris
The pallet factory is given to BMC which is owned by a turkish enterpreneur by up to 51% so it belongs within Turkish hands at the end of the day
