Is it better donating money or a container?

For the Turkish earthquakes I actually donated money after hearing about how the earthquake damaged roads and other infantstrucure.

My relatives begged us not to donate any supplies with trucks with containers as it will make the situation worst due to roads getting damaged and will create congestion.

Does Morocco have the same issue?

Roads in the Atlas Mountains are closed because large rocks Fell as a result of the earthquake, this is the reason why Rescue teams reached with helicopters rather than using the roads in The atlas mountains

Damn!! I tell this to a lot of people instead of donating a container. Donate money and donate supplies later until the infantstructure is sorted out.

People tend to forget that earthquakes can destroy or damage infantstructure.

I understand peoples intentions in trying to help but updates along with situation awarness helps. This will only complicate matters for our brothers and sisters who suffered from this natural disaster.

The Turkish Embassy in Morocco lowered its flags at half-staff in solidarity after the decision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to declare national mourning for three days following the earthquake that struck the Al Haouz province.

We extend once again our deep and sincere condolences to the friendly and brotherly people and government of Morocco, and to the families of those who lost their lives.

My condolences to the Moroccan nation for its losses, especially the loss of life from this calamity that struck.

Help is arriving from all around Morocco and the World, that is good to see the human brotherhood in such trying times.

May the relief work all go as well as it can. 🙏

In an updated outcome, as of 4:00 pm, the number of deaths caused by the earthquake reached 2,122, and the number of injured was 2,421.

İnna Lillâhi ve İnnâ İleyhi Raciûn...

After the great tragedy in our country just a few months ago, it is devastating that the brotherly Moroccan people face the same disaster and this heavy cost is overwhelming for all of us. When you talk to an earthquake victim, please tell them that you bring greetings and blessings from their brothers and sisters from other corners of the world, whom they have never met but whose hearts are with them.

The Central Bank of Morocco (Bank Al-Maghrib) officially launched a special account dedicated to private and public donations as part of solidarity with the victims of the Al Haouz earthquake.

These donations will be used to rebuild areas affected by the earthquake and also to support the victims and meet their needs

The Ministry of the Interior announced that the number of deaths caused by the earthquake that struck many areas of Morocco last Friday night has risen to 2,681 people.

On the same occasion, I want to give sincere condolences to our Libyan brothers who are devastated by heavy floods. I read that some figures are reaching over 2,000 deaths as we speak. May Allah swt help them, and ease their affairs.

Its a perfect time for people to return back to God/Allah.

We all need God in our lives. He does not need us we need him.

For the second time.. #Algeria offers to provide urgent aid and send a rescue team to #Morocco after the earthquake #Morocco _ earthquake

According to the information I received Morocco has rejected both Algerian and French assistance. We don't want help from Algeria, we don't accept hypocrisy, and fake show-offs to the world. If Algeria would wish us good at least they will send us the dead body of the French-Moroccan that are still in the Algerian freezer since two weeks ago!
