Morocco earthquake: Algeria allocates 3 planes to transport the rescue team for civil protection and humanitarian aid

Morocco did not ask for any assistance from Algeria, so why have they "allocated" all these resources, as well as making a video serving as a propaganda tool? Please leave your post for another time, not the right time now.

The support and solidarity between the Moroccan people are unbelievable. Thousands of tons of food, and other basic necessities have been gathered, however the hard task still delays a lot of the retribution. The main road connecting the villages to the main roads of the big cities around is blocked by huge stones. Bulldozers are trying their best to remove the rocks while the mountain rocks are still falling down continuously every day. There have also been many aftershocks that forced the army to deploy personnel to walk 1-2 hours on foot to reach the villages. Apart from that airdrops by the Air Force/gendarmerie are continuing however the resources are limited by around 20 helicopters. There are also great difficulties for helicopters to land directly on to the villages because the air pressure makes the homes collapse further, and the mountain debris starts to fall further.

This is not a normal earthquake, it's a very complex earthquake in an extremely difficult terrain 2 500 meters above sea level. Would not be surprised if the real death toll is over 10 000..

During times of crises, there's no time for politics. Ukrainian and Russian helpers worked almost next to each other in the relief efforts in Turkey. If Turkey can accept help from Greece and Armenia, Morocco can accept help from Algeria. This is life and death.

Question, why is the Moroccan government is so picky about the help offers? What possible reason could there be to reject the Turkish offer that would come with its own 3 aircraft, vehicles and hundreds of experienced helpers? A400s can land on near anywhere, damaged infrastructure is not an issue.

Im well aware of the relationship, and the historical aspect between modern-day Greece/Armenia, and Turkiye. Trust me the relationship between Morocco, and Algeria is 100 times worse. We would be lucky if we even had Greece as our neighbor, at least we could find a common ground between us. Yesterday the lap dog of Algeria, the "Polisario" tried to launch an attack on our soldiers in the Sahara, while the French media are now having a huge media campaign against Our King after we rejected their offer.

Apart from that, we would not need any Algerian, or French assistance. There are reported to be already 70 states that have offered help both when it comes to aid, and rescue teams. Unfortunately, there are many Moroccans that have the same question as you. From what I have understood Morocco doesn't need aid in the form of food, or supplies. The 4 selected countries were selected based on the gaps that Moroccan personnel have. The biggest challenge for us now is not personnel, or supplies rather it is the logistical aspect of getting up to the mountains. Afterquake constantly takes place, mountain rocks keep falling. That force the Moroccan army, and other security elements to walk on foot which can take 1-2 hours. The rest of the supplies are done by airdrop from the helicopters.

Highly possible that this is a drone! The activity shows that it came from Turkey. Could be Akinci! @Sanchez

That is very interesting. Sending an Akıncı all that way under its own power would probably take a day. And it squawks 7600 on fr24.

Spoof maybe?
