Logical to train pilots on cheap T1 especially if we can get twin seats.
This is what I've been thinking as well, if UK has some two seaters among the jets they want to get rid of, I wouldn't mind at all if we get some of them as well. As far as planes go they are not that old, hell, in comparison to our F-4s they are just coming out of their teenage years.

According to guesstimates, 40 T4+400 meteor missiles+ payloads like pods can cost as much as 8 billion euros.

I believe some of the news say its 20x T1 and 20x T4 models, I might be wrong though.
No, all Aircrafts will be T4 if not even T5 depending on when and if the option for the other 20 are used.

TurAF wants some T1 for training purposes. Otherwise T1 are pretty useless in todays conflicts.

Our SOM-J cruise missile, developed by TÜBİTAK SAGE, successfully hit the target in the first test firing against a surface platform.

Damn they even blurred out the serial number of the aircraft from the looks of it, it might be a Block 50+ somehow or possibly an Ozgur aircraft, also I think re-start of tests for the SOM-J could mean something as you guys know these missiles were made to be used in the F35s and this sudden re-appreance of SOM-J might mean there is hope.

It is good to see finally, the tests are being performed for our “only” air launched stealth construction cruise missile that can hit moving sea targets.
The heavy manoeuvring executed, shows that it has good and effective data link to course-correct whilst in flight.
I hope we will see the SOM-C, doing the same soon.

SOM-J has undergone a lot of updates and new developments since the first version that was being integrated to our, never realised F35 jets. The range is no longer what it used to be. It is stated as 275km now. Heavy usage of composite materials have made it lighter. New domestic turbojet engine is used to propel it.

Hopefully if the talks go well next month in White House
Several countries that are allied to the US (or perhaps more correctly that were allied to the US) are now trying to distance themselves from the US in terms of weapons procurement. Why would Turkiye want F-35 from an unpredictable, unreliable supplier?

The disturbing behaviour by the Turkish president is a blatant attack on democracy. If the leader of a democratic state prevents candidates from standing for election by locking them up or disqualifying them, that is an attack on democracy.

Unfortunately for the Turkish air force the UK public likes democracy. It does not like states that lock up journalists, either. Difficult to know but it is not impossible that Brits will choose to support the people of Turkey demonstrating against Erdogan's attack on democracy. Those Brits may press the UK government to suspend arms supply to Turkiye. I don't know how the German public will see things.

The new UK government is re-assessing UK defence needs. In view of the unfriendly words and actions of the new US president (eg attacking Canada, which shares its king with the UK), the UK may order more Eurofighters rather than more F-35. That would give the UK Eurofighter assembly plant work for years and make a Turkish order less important.

What is certain is that by locking up the democratically elected mayor of Istanbul Erdogan has made it less likely that Turkiye will be receiving Eurofighter.

You have just answered the question in your previous post with this one. Turkey doesn't have reliable allies to choose from.

You are wrong, because of the US' stance Türkiye becomes important for some European countries.
Namely the UK,Italy and Spain since France and Germany arent taken serious with their suggestions.
France offered a nuclear umbrella but none of the EU countries reacted, the EU talks about a European army but no real action taken.
Germany with its 100 billion Euros investment in its military didnt sound to convincing to the rest.
