The French built Mirage lll and V have completed 50 years of great service in the PAF.
At it's zenith more than 120 aircraft were in PAF inventory. After Dassault closed the lll and V production lines Pakistan
purchased Mirages from Australia 
Libya 
Lebanon 
Spain 
to ensure availability of spares and engines for its fleet. Australian and Lebanese aircraft were refurbished and additional squadrons were raised. The Mirage Rebuild Factory played a major role in maintaining the fleet.
