Podded EOTS system from domestic & foreign sources already exists. BEL is developing IRST. EOTS is combination of FLIR, CCD, LRF and LD which I believe DRDO is working on and may soon work on a body conformal EOTS for AMCA down the lane
Contrary to the popular belief that 5th gen is all about stealth, it's more about sensor fusion over stealth. The moment you turn on your AESA, open internal weapons bay...you're visible to enemy radars. CATS Warrior loyal wingman system is particularly being developed to integrate with all upcoming aircrafts which includes sensor fusion and effective datalinks between various aerial and ground systems
