6+ hours of loitering (Harpy 2h, Harop 9h)and high level of local components from propeller to booster rocket. A special product for start. E/O loaded versions must be on the way.

Nice weapon but whats are specs ? Its range ? Can it shoot down by SAMs ? or korkut like systems ? Its nose looks big that mean its low speed drone .

At least it has 2 way datalink and SATCOM. But I still don't get why they are using 2 way dlink if it lacks an EO ?

Yes but at the start it should've been with EO. With EO it can do both missions. And we saw what Harop's did in Karabakh, they were very useful to destroy radars and other vehicles. Kargı will stick to a single mission now.
Harop was also developed from the Harpy, we have the base now to develop it into something similar.

At the background, you can see the launching of Kargi prototypes.

Now it is time to produce thousands of different variants of Kargi and gain swarm ability. Then, we will enjoy watching the Kargis rain down on enemy who is "out of patience".

-6+ hours of loitering and 1000 Km range of the KARGI is the exact same with HAROP!!! This is the good news.i

- miniaturization of FLIR/color CCD, hemispherical coverage, satcom may be a bit challanging at first There is very limited space and there are quite a lot of things to place in this limited space this is just a guess may be I am wrong!! for sure we have the platform now and we may work on the improvments.

Smaller variant, quadpacked or loadable on sungur launcher would be good. Our troops needs small and smart solutions to increase their firepower on missions.

There are plenty of small solutions already in Turkey. This is not a weapon for that purpose. This is a long range strike weapon designed to take out high value targets.

It has 2way datalink and Satcom. Of course it has some more variants. Coming soon. Lentatek has already started searching for suitable gimbal. It is sure we have lost so much time. However, in the end, it will be a perfect game changer.

I am very disappointed.
We have waited for years and they are showing us a Harpy clone. Why no EO ? They had the capability to do that.
It is not a harpy clone it has 6+ hours of loitering time with at least 900km+(150km/h*6) range. The exact endurance and range weren't disclosed due to operational reasons but we know from the TEI director Prof. Akşit that it has the range to go to London. Sandbagging is real with this product. Its passive RF seeker has a broader frequency range and longer acquisition distance. It has a SATCOM and a bidirectional data link. This is the SEAD/DEAD version of Kargı. This will only be used against air-defense systems. Development continues on an EO version. EO version won't have an RF seeker, SATCOM will probably be optional.

Well everyone knows that loitering munitions with MITL capabilities were highly efficient in the last wars. We should've gone with EO as standart equipment. Türkiye's SIGINT capability is already at a good level, I don't think UAV would need special equipment for radar finding/homing. EO is more versatile in terms of missions flexibility.

The thing is our Kargi can listen and record signals and can send them back to HQ via SATCOM to be analyzed. It is an expandable but advanced SIGINT asset. It is more than a Kamikaze drone that searches the RF spectrum and homes on the target when the signal is acquired. You can look at our product as a next-generation Harpy. This product is obviously developed for the SEAD/DEAD. It won't ever be used to hunt down enemy tanks and MLRS like in the Karabagh war. There will be another product that is tailored for those needs.

HAROP might be the jack of all trades but it comes with an insane price tag.

How much of a chance Kargi would have against a good air defense system like the Patriot? I wonder if there is something in the way such a UAV loiters and attacks that makes it hard to detect or shoot down. Or maybe the air defense might find it hard to deal wit saturation with swarms of these.
