So this is what the AAP-Wheeled (Kestrel/WhAP Gen II essentially) prototype from Tata looks like:

"While the P8I will go through, the Stryker armoured vehicle under discussion between India and the USA is "off," sources said as the armed forces do not seem keen on it. The Army is also keen on a limited number of US Javelin anti-tank missiles, some of which have come as part of the emergency purchases."

That's great news!

Means the path is now clear for the WhAP (or rather the next-gen AAP-Wh) to be the sole 8x8 APC/IFV for the Army going ahead. I suspected the Stryker's lack of proven amphibious capabilities and a base design ill-suited for mountainous, high altitude warfare would make matters worse for it but I thought the purported 530-vehicle deal will be politically pushed through to serve at least in some theatres suited to it while the bulk of the requirement of ~2,500 vehicles will be filled by indigenous designs.

Now it seems ALL of the 8x8 inventory will be indigenous:

So this is VT-21 (AAP-Tr) model produced by Tata Advanced Systems Ltd. (TASL):

While this is AAP-Wh model from Bharat Forge Ltd. (BFL, part of Kalyani Group):

^^ You can see behind the VRDE poster there are two more vehicles, turretless. Those are TASL's AAP-Wh and BFL's AAP-Tr versions.

The AAP-Tr seen in this video is the BFL one, while the Wheeled variant is from TASL:

The VT-21 was seen with what looks like a version of the WOLFPACK 'see-through armor' situational awareness sensors from Bangalore-based Tonbo Imaging:

On the turret itself you can see what appear to be laser warning apertures, looks close to SAAB's LWS-310 sensor (also used as part of LEDS-150 vehicle defence package):

Thanks to @Gautam for figuring some of this out!
