We should make the exact same statement. Unlike 92, this time Azerbaijan is the dominant side. If no one interferes, Azerbaijan would liberate it's invaded territories. If a 3rd country interferes, we can start by bombing Armenia's airfields. Looks like after 30 years tables have turned.

The Russians have indeed a mutual defense agreement with Armenia. "Technically",the Nagorno Karabakh and the Azeri territories occupied by Armenia aren't officially considered "as Armenia". So officially the Armenians cannot ask for Russian military assistance because their territory isn't technically invaded/attacked.
Russia will most likely provide supplies and equipments to Armenia,for now. Its air force might also take part in the ongoing clashes to shoot down some Azeri drones.

Russia isn't ready for another fully blown Russo-Turkish war either. For a war to be desirable, it should be winnable. Since Russia cannot invade NATO-member Turkey like it did in Georgia or Ukraine, what's the point? Maybe you are right but if you use the same type of expressions as them what makes you better than them? Being less emotional and more rational in what you say is always better... even when you talk to an enemy.
