A rough guess would be measure thickness of armor at breached points, and asses damage on other parts.
Exactly, and such tests could be performed reasonably easy on the many inoperational T-55/62/72 tanks in Libya, which although dated are still the most likely opponents in future operations either in Libya or Syria. Such tests could either be done in Libya, or by shipping some of the designated targets to Turkey (like the captured Pantsir-S1 ;))

Russia did similar tests on Otokar Cobra they got their hands on from Georgia.

Difficult question but I wonder what kind of instruments they could use to extract scientific data from damage assessments from these vehicles? You know, to improve tactics and future variants of the munition.
Normally during the test phases of new munition, they're fired at a variety of targets like old armoured vehicles, old tanks etc. then the forensics are done before the product is finalised.
What's gleaned from the battle front are usually circumstancial conditions of weather, terrain, temprature etc.
although some of them are done during product test phase also.

''Turkey and Azerbaijan win a war of invasion against Armenia. An Islamic pincer grip is supposed to hit the oldest Christian state in the world. The two despots Erdogan and Aliyev cheer. The west looks the other way.''

Sry, couldnt make past the title, my time is too precious to waste on tantrums of religious extremists.

To study the Western sincere thinking,
see their mass media,
not their President or Prime Minister talking.

100%. You want to know what a nation really thinks about you, just pay attention to their media. If the media is hostile towards you, thats the true state policy against your nation.

We'll have to see how it goes. I know Russians are trying to make new realities on the ground, and They seem to have enough personnel to make all those outposts. I wish Aliyev had kept the PK to a lesser number.
