Bangladesh navy adds Canik systems to fleet​

In a separate agreement, SYS will supply the Bangladesh Navy with new defense systems, including the CANiK M2 QCB 12.7x99 mm heavy machine gun and the VENOM LR, a low-recoil 30x113 mm medium-caliber cannon developed by UNIROBOTICS for counter-drone operations (C-UAS).

The deliveries mark a significant milestone in Bangladesh’s naval modernization. With the recent procurement, nearly 40% of the navy’s M2-type heavy machine gun inventory now consists of CANiK systems, known for their firepower, integration flexibility, and field performance.
