In a separate agreement, SYS will supply the Bangladesh Navy with new defense systems, including the CANiK M2 QCB 12.7x99 mm heavy machine gun and the VENOM LR, a low-recoil 30x113 mm medium-caliber cannon developed by UNIROBOTICS for counter-drone operations (C-UAS).The deliveries mark a significant milestone in Bangladesh’s naval modernization. With the recent procurement, nearly 40% of the navy’s M2-type heavy machine gun inventory now consists of CANiK systems, known for their firepower, integration flexibility, and field performance.

Wonder why Aselsan's SMASH and STAMP didn't come or is it still in process. During Padma Class Batch-2's construction tenders were issued for 12-15 30mm guns.

There was no update after mentioning it on KSY's website. Usually they fit them before the trial and delivery. So question is if it's not for Padma class then for which ship? LCTs? No other construction makes sense and there's no update on OPV.
