We will not go to war when they declare 12 mile, we will go send our ships and they will do nothing but cry and yelling. We are not bound to Unclos and futher more Treaty is 3 miles. Unclos does not bound us but Lausanne. If they had stronger army they would do it 30 years ago...

The "combined choir" in Greece claims for a long time "we should have declared 12 nautical miles decades ago, the moment the 12 nautical miles were a thing in this world we live in". They claim because we didn't declare the 12 miles immediately the Turks smelled fear and kept asking for more and more and now we have Mavi Vatans and I don't know whatever else they will ask from Greece tomorrow. That is why they say we will not avoid the war if the Greek politicians show fear and hold back to show that they avoid provoking the Turks and when they see that the Turks will keep asking things from Greece.

Winner takes it all.

What about Egypt? Do they accept the agreement?

The Egyptian Foreign Minister announced today that they do not accept the agreement and consider it illegal.

Ironically, Egypt had recently stated that it was considering joining the Mecca Defense Alliance. Yet today, it has declared that it does not recognize the Libya-Turkey agreement.

In principle, yes – Europe is paralysed by the war in Ukraine and cannot help Greece. Should a war break out between Turkey and Greece, the following things would happen simultaneously: the Russians would launch a massive attack on Ukraine in order to force a decision. Europe would be torn apart and would not know where to focus its resources.
China will attack Taiwan; the US cannot deal with three high-conflict areas at the same time and would focus on Taiwan, as it might still be able to influence the other conflicts retrospectively through agreements – but China is in a league of its own.
If Taiwan falls … then the sea lanes (canals) will also fall into China’s hands. A nightmare for the West.

Greece is nothing more than a paper tiger.

It would only dare to go to war with Turkey if it has France, Israel, the EU, and the US firmly behind it. However, none of these countries would be willing to fight a war against Turkey for Greece’s sake. That is why Greece can do nothing but shout and rant.

The United States has been worn down by the war with Iran. The EU remains paralyzed by its fear of Russia. Israel also lacks the courage to attack Turkey. Greece stands alone, and for this reason it can neither extend its continental shelf to 12 miles nor take any concrete action against Turkey.

The EU is no longer in a position to attack Turkey on behalf of Greece. Neither their armies nor their economies are capable of it.

Greece must sit down at the table with Turkey and accept a fair sharing arrangement. Otherwise, it will lose more with every passing day. The only solution for Greece is to reach a fair agreement at the negotiating table. By avoiding an agreement, they will achieve nothing, because militarily it is impossible for them to stand against Turkey.
