I don't use memes that often nor want to pollute this thread with it but this ones seems to suit perfectly.

How is it possible that i'm disliked by both rightists and leftists?
The aktrolls pick extremists protestors from Bosphorus University. You had better focus on other female protestors who are in hidjab.

Regarding your caricature :
Akapeons are believe in ummah. They curse people stating to be Turks. How comes Rabia supporters to have been Turks?

There is no conflict between secular republicians with libertars.

Forget the AKTrolls it's just the letter send to Erdogan? It's not just picking one student, what the fook made them to write such a bs?
This was not only a Red Card but also a Penalty without Goalkeeper.

I am a mod and should not enter political discussions at all but I should say something. There are people that chose to close their eyes to the problem regarding the President's interference in the university and there are also people that chose to close their eyes to the obvious participation of terrorist elements within the university and also out of it. Both types are trying to portray the situation as black and white and both types are not liked by me. If for some people to close their eyes to the obvious realities is easier then so be it.

I know very well the political realities and the problem that is there regarding the rule of law and I see people supporting the current model which is not good. The only thing that is keeping us one step above the most of the countries in the Middle East is that Turkey is founded as a republic in which the rule of law is the model of rule and the obvious misuse of power should not be tolerated in any way.

We know very well the existing problems but hate must not blind us to the level where we become terrorist organization's apologists. I see that people defended PKK marches, ridiculous declarations and symbolic personalities of the protests which turned to openly support PKK suicide bombers. Some of them turned their back on their initial mistakes and some of them decided to continue closing their eyes and carry on.

My message to both types is that the road they have chosen is wrong. Don't close your eyes and don't lie to yourself! The way all that is going and the level of blindness from hate is slowly but surely pushing you to a state that you will regret reaching. Don't blindly support everything you see as popular move because in the end you will fall in a mistake on the forum which if I personally see I will punish harshly directly without any warnings and this have to be known. Even if we are mostly quiet everybody reading this should know that the team of the forum is watching closely. Nobody must accuse the forum of favoritism regarding X political party's policies or X man's views. The team of the forum is compiled of people with different views and we are trying everything possible to moderate fairly and I can say that we are doing it pretty successfully to this day. Nobody should try to wash their hands with us as a team!

My message should be reminder to everybody seeking chance to get out of control and create chaotic environment here no matter which political view they represent. We are watching closely and will not hesitate do what is necessary in preventing malign activities promoting terrorist organizations, chaotic environment in the forum or any activity targeting the unity of the Turkish Nation by any criteria and will punish every such initiative in the harshest way. The potential of this thread for trouble is rising with every hour. Keep the discussion clean, debate normally, question your sources and the content you find appropriate. Don't give us reason to implement the measures I am talking about.

Remember the old reactor before Melih Bulu.

She accused the Devlet of being a katil and gathered the academia to oppose the Afrin operation.

I can safely say most of these foreign owned schools in Turkiye brainwash kids to hate their own country.

Honestly no different to saudi run schools and mosques to be honest.

Thread has nothing to do with gays.

This is about a rector being choosen by Erdogan regime. Bypassing elections of the university. The university is Bogaziçi University, the best university in all of Turkey.

Regime lovers in this thread, tries everyday to show it something different then it is.

Bro, going past the twitter and social media hearsay and insinuations back and forth.....what is your view on there being no challenge (from student group) w.r.t letter and any other official statement put by the student group?

To me one can have valid cause/origin/cassus-belli for a transgression or over-reach by govt, politician, bureaucrat thug etc.

When you form the protest group against it, you initially feel having as man as possible adds the most weight, I can understand that.

But when members/leadership of the group put out letter with pro-separatist content, there must be calling out of this among the protest group that are against it. Silence means they are standing by it and/or condoning it.

Many a protest group has been corrupted like this across the world....by assuming it need to be as big as possible and stand by as collective for everything it transmutes into to try fan flames etc.

FLQ had its activities not too far from where I am sitting right now among student groups etc going back 50 years ago or more. There was sympathy to it from number of people that did not understand what it really wanted and how it wanted to go about it.

Thus many student protest in 60s and 70s that would start for whatever reason (against federal govt, other student groups, university affairs, social issues etc etc) would inevitably get FLQ and proxies to add to its number.

But after events of 1970: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/October_Crisis

...when FLQ clearly indicated what it is about and so brazenly, the important thing that happened is that whenever it tried to join such protests again (or issue statement on behalf of the collective protest).....Quebec laypeople (even those with some separatist or Quebec nationalist sentiments) always distanced from it, rejected it or condemned it (given the violence+terrorism FLQ used in 1970).

This is why Quebec party (For quebecer rights + their nationalism etc) the "BQ" have distanced and condemned FLQ tactics and terrorism...and this extends to the manner majority of quebecers handle issue if such pops up again in protests say today....they would call it out (I support Quebec rights/nationalism, but NOT the FLQ).

Thus dont you think its better for these students to condemn anything they do not stand by that is being put as their collective take on matter?....as if they do not voice it (or have some voiced this?...maybe you can tell me) it means they are implied to support it by silence IMO.

I would always rather have 50 people, with me that stand for everything of importance that I believe in....rather than simply join a group of 500 (in general counter-direction of the issue that has upset me etc) because it is bigger "on paper", especially if it is conflating issues and putting things in there I do not support at all. Such details should matter a lot I feel....as often there is just no time to learn what sticks and doesnt stick in broader support by doing number-moves over more quality+refined+direct honest way.

I can do this w.r.t India through its history as well....all sides of this kind of thing.....but that is very much longer topic and I think FLQ is a better summarised rejoined to what I am getting at here.

Madrigal is not a pro-akp account. Stop lying about us or our friends.

Your behavior is the typical 'akp'lisin yaniii' syndrome.

Stop manipulating the debate by portraying people as members of a governing party. Although other members criticisied you on this issue just a few pages before, you still insist on this habit.

I really can't understand. Are you defending the tweets written by this terrorist? Or are some of the lawyers, journalists and MPs who defend him who try to market him as a democracy fighter? Or are you blaming those who saying that terrorist elements and their related grey-organizations should be seperated.

You've accused many of us with lying in this forum. You even compared me with Iranian trolls. Sana kalkıp ağzını topla terbiyesizliğin lüzumu yok, demedik. Ancak sanırım durum yanlış anlaşıldı. As people treat you with respect, you literally going beyond moral foundations that what you blame people and use it as a defense method.

Shall we respond with the same method, so I have nothing to talk to someone who defended/(or pretending not to be) this PKK supporter in this tittle just weeks ago. What you are doing is moving to partisanism. Be careful.
I gave you videos, and real pictures.

All you gave is some some written stuff on social media. Non creditable material.

Other than that, i don't need your advice.

Şeyma Altundal stated that she was dragged on the ground by the police while trying to be taken into custody and her headscarf was unfastened, and that she was put on the police vehicle with reverse handcuffs and that she was not allowed to wear her headscarf.

I wish the cops broke this filthy creatures skull.
No need to break skull, Turkey have terror laws for this.

Take him to custody for terror propaganda, rest is the job of the jurisdiction.

Also, it's not related with Boğaziçi Protests. As usual regime defenders trying to paint the whole thing as something different. When backwards got defeated they will defend the Ataturk the most.

Those people destroying government property and going into chaos if it was for me I would throw them out of university, arrest them, give them 40.000 dollar penalty for making chaos and anarchy + take the cost of police action and so on plus the costs they did harm to government stuff.. I would let them deal with an unofficial penalty by giving them the beat up of their life

I would treat them like I would treat those pkk people our country is too soft..
all the harm that happens needs to be collected somewhere that means protestors harm cars? harm shops and so on? ok if you are caught than pay for it! pay for the police action (fuel, police payment, ... ), for the law enforcement, for the destruction you caused and if you harmed someone than pay for his hospital, doctor and for that you harmed him..!

many people need to be arrested in such conflicts and than with an attitute of making excamples and not giving small penalties..

again our government is taking everyone to light and too soft even terrorists are playing around with our police and law in the east and in parties.. that needs to end

Let's be clear. Sinan defended this terrorist. Never forget this.
He is not defending anyone but stressing out that Turkey should be a state where rule of law applies instead of the police state that it has become today, is that so hard to understand?

He is not only defending the leftists but also your rights in case the roles should be reversed one day in the future, you guys should be supporting his cause too but all you do is slandering.

Sinan defended freedom of speech which you enjoy immensely in the EU.
İt doesn't mean people support terrorism. We are against all terrorist from ISIS to YPG.
However Erdo and akp had started official talks with terrorists sending Selahattin Demirtaş ( currently stated the most wanted terrorist) every two weeks.

As i said how we could be sure if twitt was made up.
