This is the best time to get second hand A330 and MRTT kits actually, are they buying conversion kits or fresh new ones? Turkey should consider A330 MRTT kits despite bad relations.
Turkey has the capability of converting airliners into airborne tankers. I'd like to see a project of the kind soon.
THY has a huge fleet. It could donate some of its ageing aircraft for conversion.

i mean the F3R standard not the F4

All currently produced Rafales are F4.1 ready. (The F4.1 standard is mostly software upgrade)

The F4.2 standard which will be available in the next few years will receive all the most important hardware upgrade, the Rafale will need to come back to the factory for extensive upgrade work.

The Egyptian Rafale will probably include some of the F4 upgrade,we will see in the coming weeks/months when more details will be available.

the 2 main advantages on the f4 is it can operate the mica ng missile + the 1000kg hammer bombs

Egyptian Deal For Rafale Fighters Boosts Data Sharing

Egyptian sources tell Breaking Defense that this may not be the last Rafale purchase. Egypt is now eying the Rafale F4. “We are looking to increase the (overall) number to 72 or 100 units, depending on Egypt’s financial capacity.”

MICA NG also could be an option but they probably can't be compared as well to the Meteor.
according to mbda mica-ng wont be available until 2026 besides its compatible with the F4 standard only
and the deal i read it is F3R standard
and dont forget the meteor will be the first BVR with fire and forget abilities missile in the EAF from a western origin so it represent a good jump

MICA NG is way better than Meteor though it won't be available until 2026. Sure Meteor has better ramjet propulsion but the RF seeker of MICA NG is multitudes better than Meteor. It equalizes the playfield against DRFM jammers. If you are going against an opponent which has the upper hand in the electromagnetic spectrum and deploys modern DRFM jammers you should go with MICA NG, if you have superiority in the electromagnetic spectrum you should go for Meteor to score kills at longer distances.

With this new order France has now exported 144 Rafale !

Egypt : 54 Rafale
India : 36 Rafale
Qatar : 36 Rafale
Greece : 18 Rafale

Including the French order of 225 aircrafts it means Dassault would have produced 369 Rafale !

That doesn't include additionnal orders or possible future customers.

Let's hope for a win in Croatia, future orders from India,Greece and the UAE.
Though Rafale is the most potent fighter jet in IAF's inventory and we'd love to order more, the chances for future orders are bleak primarily due to the cost since IAF intends to fill in the dwindling squadron numbers by finding cost effective replacements for the retiring Migs. Currently, LCA Tejas is the replacement aircraft

Rafale being an expensive aircraft will limit us in placing orders for any significant numbers which is why I believe IAF will wait for the MWF to take shape. With the slowdown of economy due to covid, even if IAF opts for more Rafales...it'll take a few more years just to finalize the contract given our flawed & lethargic negotiation process with deliveries starting late 2020s which is around the same time HAL can start producing MWFs

The French are having great success with Rafale sales recently. The Egyptian Air Force as a result seems to be ridiculously potent, even with proper missiles for their F-16s. The sheer number of twin engined fighter jets alone makes up for it and then some.
