Corvettes and strike drones for the Ukrainian Navy - Defense Ministry signs contracts with Turkish companies

Ukrainian-Turkish cooperation: a look at the dynamics

Today, for the first time in history, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine concluded direct foreign economic agreements on military goods. A number of defense contracts with Turkish companies have been signed by Defense Minister Andriy Taran.
The event took place during a visit by a Turkish delegation led by the President of the Directorate of Defense Industry of the Republic of Turkey Ismail Demir, according to the Ministry of Defense.

According to Andriy Taran, these are projects designed to radically strengthen the combat capabilities of the Ukrainian Navy to increase security in the Black Sea-Azov region. These are the first concrete agreements under the recently signed agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Turkey.
The Ministry of Defense clarified that the agreements concern the transfer of technology and production of corvettes and strike unmanned aerial vehicles for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It will be recalled that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel-General Ruslan Khomchak, recently stated that in the coming years Ukraine will have 4 corvettes in its fleet .
It will be recalled that in October, Ukrainian Defense Minister Andriy Taran and Turkish Defense Industry Directorate President Ismail Demir signed a Memorandum outlining their intentions to launch and implement joint projects to build warships, unmanned aerial vehicles and all types of turbines.
It will also be recalled that Navy Commander Oleksiy Neizhpapa, summing up the year for the Navy in Odessa, said that next year the Navy should receive the first Neptune missile division, the Bayraktar complex, as well as seven ships and vessels.

I think this deal contains 4 Milgem-U corvette and 48 Tb2 drones.

engine...
Probably that but will it be tank one, or airplane, some joint venture with antonov, lot of options available, surely ukraina has lot of strategic assets, question is what they are willing to spare exactly in this kind of arrangement?

Ukrainian engineers built VTOL jet engines during sovjet era. And they also designed the initial engine that was sold to LM.

As mentioned before, Turkey is really committing to this partnership, corvette TT and significant amount of TB2s must be exchanged for something more than a jet engine. Either Turkey really has a problem with not being able to produce engines or Ukraine will build an improved engine - accelerating the Gezgin and TF-X projects.
