Turkiye-India-Pakistan is bit like Turkiye-Russia-Ukraine
TURKIYE had far more cooperation with Ukraine/Pakistan so Turkiye have to consider that.
in defence product we have to help the weak side much while we wish good relationship with Russia/India
Turkey doesn't think like that i can give you an example from my country.seriously sometimes i don't understand you guys. Those who have done business with Pakistan or attended the necessary meetings see how great their contribution to us is. Why should we break our relationship with Pakistan? Pakistan is not a one-time but a regular customer as well.
That’s not turkey not want to sell but India doesn’t want to buy attack weapons from the country which close to Pakistan (China and Turkey)Turkey doesn't think like that i can give you an example from my country.
The largest Turkish investments outside its borders are in Algeria. This did not prevent Turkey from selling TB2s to Morocco, after that Morocco used those TB2s to kill Algerian civillians, and even after that Turkey kept sending them more.India is a great market and a great opportunity for us. But under current situation (Kashmir) I can’t see how we could use this opportunity.

You see here that's not how it works, if India ordered Turkey will sell them no problem.
Turkish investment in algeria is not even top 1 in the continent of africa. The «civilian» killed can you keep for yourself btw. If i was algeria i would go for more turkish drones rather then chinese wing long. The largest Turkish investments outside its borders are in Algeria. I believe there was also a memorandum signed between Algeria and Turkey about defence cooperation.Algeria, Roketsan and ATMACA missiles
<div>Algeria is reported to be looking to acquire the ATMACA anti-ship mi ...</div>www.tacticalreport.com
Algeria and Turkey relations go back a long time. There are over 2million Algerians with Turkish ancestors. Same goes for Turks. My great great great… grand father’s wife was Algerian when he was a Pasha in Algeria. I have 1/32 Algerian in my bloodline. There is a lot of brotherly feeling between the two countries.
Algeria’s close defensive relations with Russia and Russian equipment may have been a stumbling block before. But after your President’s recent visit, if there were any cold feelings between the two states they have now been put a side.
Here we go again, you want to ban me for 3 months now? go away don't quote me, you are a bias mod who hates Algeria.Turkish investment in algeria is not even top 1 in the continent of africa. Turkey has invested heavily in Algeria and relations are very strong. Turkey now has the largest iron factory in Africa. thanks to this factory, it is the second supplier of iron bars to North America after China and the first to Germany. Most of the steel of German cars comes from this factory.@Sami1234 what is your views on below news?

Yeah so Turkiye shouldn’t sell any weapons to India because Pakistan will not like it, while Pakistan can do whatever is best for their interest even if it hurts Turkiye.
Seriously what Turkiye is gaining by licking Pakistanis boots ?
India is a great market and a great opportunity for us. But under current situation (Kashmir) I can’t see how we could use this opportunity.
We shouldn't dictate what are we going to do or not because Pakistan will get sad lmao
Pakistan is a friendly country and a strategic ally but they don't dictate our defence deals.
Take Russia and Ukraine as an example.
The replenishment tanker deal is pretty sizeable for example. Hopefully paves way for better things in future.
Not only India our relations with Bangladesh was at a standstill because of Pakistani propaganda about Bangladesh. Only recently has changed for the better. Look at trade between Turkey-India-Bangladesh v Pakistan. We sell more to Bangladesh then Pakistan.
I don't understand the boot licking either, we have gained zero from Pakistan, only political damage due to association, betrayals (KL summit, Kabul Airport) and privately Turkish companies have to take Pakistan to court every other year.
Kashmir is not our problem and should never have become one. It makes me cringe when Turks mention Kashmir and are silent about Uyghurs.
Because of gavat Islamists, imagine breaking ties with a country because the said country (Bangladesh) wanted to hang a genocidal pro Pakistani mullah who helped Pakistan go on a rape and killing rampage in Bangladesh.
You got to be pee brained not to see Pakistan is heading down failed state status while Bangladesh is emerging.
I'll get banned or this post deleted now for exposing the truth now.
We have no alliance for one.
Pakistan is a "friendly" country until Turkey falls out with China, KSA and UAE lmfao Uyghurs and KL summit, imagine shooting your country in the foot so many times over illegal immigrant exporters.
Good things to come when both countries get out of religious populism but trade is increasing despite this.
I remember Pakistanis were seething because of a commercial drone sale to India lmfao. Felt betrayed by "ummah" while they were proud to sell Myanmar jets to wipe out Royinghas.
Turkish interests in Centeral Asia have always competed with Pakistans, check Zia period, there is good reason Pakistan did everything to keep Turkey out of Kabul airport and were cheering the downfall of Northern Alliance and Government.
I do agree with you that the morocco-algeria tension really do test turkiye. However which side they will support if the shit hits the fan, is unknown. We can guess that turkey would try to mediate between the 2 brotherly countries, but as for now the sales of tb2, and koral to morocco speaks volumes. Its just my personal opinion, but in the end of the day only time will show the truth! Turkeys export to morocco cost the moroccan economy 2 billion usd in deficit yearly, but morocco still never joined the «saudi» block during the boycott, it only asked for a solution between the 2 parts. Aligning more with algeria will come with a cost aswell, dont forget that the hole arab world , and most of muslim states support morocco in the tensions between morocco, and algeria. Very tricky situation, but i believe the turks will do the right thing. Cheers! As of now we dont have any restrictions on exports. We sell to both sides of a conflict (Morocco vs. Algeria) and while that's good for business, it will eventually lead to a fallout in relations once shit hits the fan.
Considering Moroccos actions against Turkish companies, I sure would prefer we align more with Algeria. But as I said right now all gas no breaks.
