I don't have a good feeling about this, investing $100 Mio. while Ukraine is at war seems quite risky for me.
Besides that why aren't we hearing anything about "Black Sea Shield" ?

Could this be a remark for it?

I hope we will get what we need in return.
I see the event as more of a gain in terms of PR.

Russia might get delivery of Iranian tactical and short-range ballistic missiles starting from late October. Russia might try to hit new facilities with those missiles.

Iran probably has lots of them nearing the end of their shelf life.

Their president just last month was spreading pro-armenian propaganda in front of the UN. I'm sorry but this sale needs to be vetoed by the Government.

Can anyone here identify what this model is showing? I’m just curious as I saw an article with this photo stating that Kosovo is looking into acquiring C-RAM systems soon. Does anyone know exactly what these guys are looking at in the photo?

Thanks.

Exports of the Turkish defense and aerospace industry sector in September 2023 were announced as 430.2 million dollars. The total exports of the sector in the first 9 months was 3.8 billion dollars.

Exports of the defense and aerospace sector in September 2023 amounted to 430.2 million dollars, an increase of 158.9% compared to the same month of the previous year. The industry's 9-month export target between January and September 2023, which has an export target of 6 billion dollars for the end of the year, was 3 billion 839 million dollars in total.

In order to achieve the year-end export target, the sector must realize an average monthly export of 720 million dollars in the remaining 3 months of the year. In the remaining months of the year, the sector is expected to break a new monthly export record.

UCAV exports are at the forefront

On the other hand, in the exports of the Turkish defense and aerospace industry, armed unmanned aerial vehicle platforms and ammunition exports are at the forefront. So far, BAYKAR has exported Bayraktar TB2 SİHA to 32 countries and AKINCI TİHA to 8 countries.

TAI, on the other hand, exported ANKA and AKSUNGUR UCAVs to at least 7 countries.

In addition to UCAVs; Roketsan-produced ammunition such as MAM-L, MAM-C, MAM-T and İHA-230 are also achieving export success.

The AKINCI TİHA contract, which BAYKAR signed with Saudi Arabia recently, was much talked about with its price of 3.1 billion dollars. AKINCI TİHA exports to Saudi Arabia broke records as the industry's largest single-item export agreement.

Is there a slowdown?

No, there is an acceleration. If October, November and December comes in at the level of 2022, Turkiye will hit $6.2bn. Likely the number for the last three months will be higher than 2022, thereby, I think we should expect something around $6.5bn.
