Frigate Merah Putih Indonesia will be equipped with advent cms, atmaca ssm, gokdeniz ciws, hisar sam, cafrad and cenk radar.
Will Midlas vls be ready for export market?
And it's official. "An initial batch" of 45 Atmacas ordered by Indonesian Navy.

Roketsan really found a footing in the SEA market. And this is now the 3rd confirmed Roketsan sale to Indonesia after Khan SRBM and Hisar SAMs in the Trisula system.

Largest quantity SSM ever be bought in 1 batch by Indonesia standard. Kudos to Roketsan challenging mbda exocet market in Indonesia.

Türkiye regarding the expansion of the market for the sale of its weapons has great prospects in the Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia. Moreover, when the capabilities of the Russian Military Industrial Complex are narrowing. The Russian “Center for Analysis of World Arms Trade” (in Russian - ЦАМТО) often publishes very interesting articles on this topic. They call Türkiye a “Muslim manufacturer” and watch with concern as the Turks enter the largely arms trade market. When it comes to Central Asia, this anxiety quickly turns into panic. After all, this is not only money, it is also political influence for a long time. By the way, the Russians have already come to terms with the fact that they lost Azerbaijan. And the struggle for Central Asia is in full swing.
“Turks are welcome everywhere!” - the Russians sadly state.
(Reading this is very funny for me, having been observing these processes for 45 years)

We don't need to make money from Indonesia. I think we should give it to the production cost.
It doesn't work that way. Usual business is charging 2x for export but don't be surprised this is still half the price of competition.

Is ther a chance that the number is wrong? That 45 missile is nothing for a country like Indonesia, the source of the news is James. A single ship will have 16 missiles i mean 2 ships and finished?

It does say an initial batch and planned number is higher. If they are going to modernize the ships in batches, which is smarter, it makes sense. And 4x2 AShMs is still pretty standard over the world so that would mean 5 ships and 5 spares for tests.

Jane's is usually pretty solid, one of the OG defence publications, though it got less good over the years. Still pretty respected.

Yeah 16 missiles per ship is our thing, its a bit unusual. We are gonna have 8 Istif + 4 meko with 16 each.

Moskva was a 10000 tonne cruiser with land attack duty, a 3000 tonnes frigate with 16 antiship missiles on angled launchers is disproportionate. There are of course ships with a many vls that can you can put a variety of things in. Honestly, maybe Istif with 32 vls + 8 Atmaca would be more optimal

We are not the first to implement it at all tbh. But it is a growing trend for the last 5 or so years. Istif is light on VLS, but i'm pretty happy with the ASM loadout.
