And if you speak to PKK supporters they'll tell you how great they were and how you shouldn't trust propaganda coming from Turkish sources. You talk about growing up while believing people who support terrorists readily. There is no reason to talk and derail the thread anymore, I hope people in charge are not colossal idiots who think selling weapons to the terrorists in the shit list of every country that can fuck our most critical projects would be okay.

The Taliban is now a legitimate government.

They won there is nothing that can be done about it.

If Afghanistan has something to offer how about you look into it make a deal.

Stop holding onto delusions of what is right and what is wrong.

No they aren't, most of the world doesn't recognize them as a government for a very good reason. Would you recognize PKK if they managed to take Northern Iraq? You are the deluded one if you think there is no right or wrong, associating with a terrorist organization that kills civilians is wrong. Fuck that and fuck everyone who supports that. Go and check how many people they killed since coming into power and tell me that's okay.

As if any country has not done that LOL

Why I would I recognise pkk lmaoo

They are our enemies. The Taliban is not unless if they attack Turkiye or Turks I will treat them as a hostile enemy.

Right now they are willing to talk and do deals.

Let me remind you us Turks supported various Afghan war lords who were just as brutal and ruthless as the Taliban like Abdul Rashid Dostum.

Get off the high horse. Commie Chinese will be increasing their influence in Central Asia.

Why do you care so much about what the West thinks when they literally support various dictatorships and terror groups.

Nobody is innocent in this game of geopolitics.

Turkey, or any other country for that matter, currently does not recognize Taliban as the sovereign ruler of Afghanistan. We also don't sell weapons to non UN recognized entities, so I don't see weapons sales on the horizon before Turkey recognizes Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

Unless there is a concrete report / rumour about an export to Afghanistan (which i hope will never be the case, as long as Taliban rules). This is pretty much a non discussion.

I cant even believe that people actually think that we would consider such an export.

why not ?

Because its the Taliban, which we fought against and trained forces against for 2 decades.
Because it will damage Turkey reputation.
Because its basically Saudi Arabia but in poor.

1- you followed the US and fought their war , not war you believed in.
2- you trained a corrupt army who got defeated in less than a month
3- when the US officially recognize Afghanistan all the world will be follow what the White House did , then I would love to see if that will hurt Turkey reputation.
4- KSA ?! How and why ?!

I am not sure it's really Karaok or OMTAS. Because in the website it says required range is 2000-4000 meters. AFAIK, Karaok has a range of 2500 meters. Either, they increased missile range or website is mistaken with missile name.

The helicopter carrying PKK terrorists was hit by Sungur Manpads fired from UAVs. Friends at special forces also went to the area to take pictures of the corpses.

Is there any evidence available to the public on this claim?

No there's not. Because my brother's friend, who was working in the region, was in the special forces. Let's just say it's just a rumor circulating personally.

It also doesn’t make sense to hide this capability to the public, in contrary this will give another argument to buy Turkish drones.

I don't think you need to advertise. Turkey's UAV capabilities are obvious. A comprehensive presentation is already being made for the delegations that come for extra capabilities. We don't need to put these abilities in everyone's eyes. Surprise abilities increase unpredictability.

Meanwhile, in the first information, they said, "We hit the helicopter with the missile fired from the UAV". I thought it might be Sungur at best. We're not going to shoot helicopters with anti-tank missiles in the air, are we?

AFAIK range improvements depend on the CLU unit that comes with the missiles, not with the missile itself.
At least that's how Javelins range went up from 2500 m to 4000 m. Also, vehicle mounted Javelins boast even further range, due to the inherent superiority of the vehicle mounted EO/IR optic systems.

Malaysia became the first export customer of the KARAOK Anti-Tank Missile. Malaysia will supply more than 100 KARAOK Missiles along with 18 systems.

According to the news of Malaysian Defense; In early June, the Malaysian Ministry of Defense reported that five bidders had been shortlisted for the tender for 18 Medium Range Anti-Tank Guided Weapons (ATGW-MR), which was issued on 18 April. The tender was supposed to close on May 18, but the deadline for bidding was extended to June 1.

The Malaysian Ministry of Defense announced today that the company that won the tender is Roketsan KARAOK .

The 18 Roketsan KARAOK ATGW-MR systems to be purchased will come with six missiles for each launcher, for a total of 108 missiles. The package will also include an indoor simulator, three outdoor simulators, their components, and three transparent missiles for testing equipment.

When KARAOK enters service with the Malaysian Army, it will replace the Metis-M ATGW-MR missile installed on G-Wagen 4X4 vehicles. The new ATGW-MR will be integrated into Cendana vehicles.

KARAOK Missile Technical Specifications

Diameter125mm
Weight< 16 kg (Missile + Tube)

Note- 108 missile with 18 CLU and other training simulators for $10 millions only is incredibly cost effective.
Each missile is probbaly costing around $60000-70000.
