I just came back from the farmers' market, you can find tomatoes for as cheap as 10 lira, I bought 30₺ per kilo pink ones of good quality. Very good quality peaches is 100₺ but yesterday I saw them for 230 lira at a greengrocer in the next neighborhood down. If you want to find products cheaper you go to the market by the closing time, it is like the happy hour.

Congratulations. You are the only one who find affordable foods in Türkiye.

Government already protects farmers but not showmen. Dumping watermelons on the marketplace is a crime and sharing crime videos is being partners in crime. Not every businessman is a successful businessman, you don't dump your goods in the marketplace because you fuck up.
It sounds AKP is afraid of negative “News” and public relations.
Next time, when Turks are going to a ballot box, they should think twice if they want to vote for AKP. I hope till their, no one will be starve.

I know that supporting akp means to defend everything they said without questioning. I am fine with that.
But you cant call a protest a "crime" . Actually calling people "criminal " without any conviction is a "crime". It is called "defamatory statement".
And what is wrong with you. Economy is f.cked . There is a fortune transfer from middle class to a few rich people and if you dont see it I dont know what else to say .

Such action has recently been ruled as criminal, it is not my judgement.

How can you make such a statement, it is simply derogatory, I will simply ignore you from now on.

Depends. (For a family of four with the income of one experienced teacher and no spending for rent) You can eat steak 30 days a month. But you shouldn't have extra spendings and should track for the cheapest prices for that. If there's someone in the family who loves keeping their wardrobe full, if they go for events such as concerts or if they go to cafes it gets harder. If the family is renewing their phones annually or car in every 3-5 years or if they're living in rent it's almost impossible (1 steak per month maybe?).

If the family has the income of two teachers, they can eat steak everyday with extra spendings.

In short, one teacher can provide meat to an average family few to several times a month.

I know a lot of families of teachers (including mine). I hope this helps you understand the middle class. Oh and eating out is so expensive. Gotta be your own chef 😅

Salary of teachers = 2,5 to 4 minimum wages. Calculations are based on prices in an average city. These are not accurate for Istanbul or any other expensive city.
