Germany expats have grown an understanding that wants old people working, it is a Germany problem not a Türkiye problem.

Is it affordable for all?

It is, because Türkiye grows food and it comes with different qualities. First quality, second quality even third quality. They come with different prices too. So you can find the food at different prices. The shop location, time of day of shopping plays a role too. If you go to the street market in the middle of the day you buy the produce at premium prices, if you go by the evening you find cheaper prices. Also sellers leave close to expiring products at the bazaar location and people can even get some for zero money. On time I saw crates of fish left over because they wouldn't last until the next bazaar. The cleaners will clean the left overs as garbage when the seller go away. Unlike in Germany where imported food only come in high quality.

We look at the entire world to draw lessons. Old people become useful helping the kids grow. My mother looked after her grandkids for their mother when their mother was at work, so did my father. Looking after kids is a full time job and grandparents help with that.

Europe went through the world war2 and we didn't so our population dynamics are different.

Western youth is more careing on "work-life balance" and social media than hard working principles. Dont underestimate experience of olds.

The issue is that we are currently following europe's path with more older people and few young people but for now our social system isn't as big germany or so

We are wasting the young generation.

Please remember that in old times when people were living in rural areas and struggling to survive, they got more children because it was one way of ensuring themselves when they got too old to work. Their families took care of them.

My take on it is that if you create an environment where people can live comfortably most will only end up with 1-2 children. because they don't want to jeapordize their leisurely lifestyle.

Bigger homes requires more energy spending considering sqm you need to heat up during winter and such. And in summer times you'll likewise need aircondition to cool down.

Smaller houses/apartments in that regard would be a better choice. How many of you have heard or seen a 62-77 sqm 2-3 room apartments ? (living room and bedrooms are countet as room).

Remote workplace, kindergartens, and cheaper groceries and such are important for stability. going communism and trying to make people breed like animals like what MHP wants isn't going to work.

Tbh that's the case worldwide. Not much you can do now, except for a hard pivot to renewables. This would allow you to decrease a trade deficit long term. this must come ASAP and installing Solar panels and batteries should be made less bureaucratic (it's very bureaucratic from what I hear from relatives).
It's literally free energy and helped Pakistan reduce their energy woes. Solar + battery goes brrrrrt

No, I'm not opposed to nuclear either, renewables and nuclear can go hand in hand for all I care
