I would take the announcements, travel limitations and/or warnings on US State Department’s official pages quite serious, because the intel does not necessarily come from the local (intelligence) sources, you know what I mean! Is this the case, as I see nothing related on the pages?

Spurred by this argument, the Portuguese Empire, seeking to capture more land in East Africa and other parts of the world, used any encounter with the "Terrible Turk" as "a prime opportunity to establish credentials as champions of the faith on par with other Europeans".[13]

Stories of the "dog-Turk" reinforced the negative image. The dog-Turk was claimed to be a man-eating being, half-animal and half-human, with a dog's head and tail. It seems to me that the West cant get over the fact that the Ottomans were the only ones who were able to successfully invade the West in the last 1000 years; not only did the Christians got screwed but the empire stood for around 800 years whixh is nearly more than most Christian empires

Its roots are in distant lands, it can't be defeated unless the heads are defeated and that isnt possible. But it must be managed and minimised. Its a big big mistake for Turkey to keep allowing millions of refugees to flood Turkey, because these minorities become tomorrows separatist/terrorist movements used by the west.

The Kurdish issue only started once Turkey started allowing millions of Kurds from the middle east to flee into Turkey,

However, firstly, let me clarify some points


1- Erdo believes that KSA and UAE doesnt deserve to lead the Muslim world just because they have Mecca or Madina is 100% true. Erdogan believes that Turkey, descendants of the Ottomans, deserve to be the ruling class within the Islamic world which isnt wrong but not right either

2- Erdo supports Pakistan for technology regarding nuclear field, ballistic missiles, and the fact that he is taking potent engineers from Pak to work in TAI etc... in fact, I heard rumors that some of the BAE engineers supporting the TFX project are actually Pakistani in origin; India on the other hand is a competitor to Turkey in aeronautics field and being extremely friendly wont give Erdogan what he wants since the Indians have a head start on Erdogan and Turkey regarding that field

3- The fact that Erdo supported Morsi just because of his Ummah belief is utter BULLSHIT! Morsi promised to buy TB2s from Turkey even though they werent famous nor completely ready to be mass produced, Morsi promised to sign the EEZ deal with Erdogan (something which previous egyptian leaders didnt want to sign in order not to antagonise the EU). Such an agreement would have solved Turkey's main problem in the MedEast and by now Turkey may have been independent from fossils and its economy by now may have been propelled to significant heights

4- Erdogan isnt only supporting Hamas out of religious beliefs, it is also to put pressure on Israel. Prior to deepening ties between Erdo and Hamas, Israel used to take Turkey for granted; it even reached to the point of Israel forces killing civilian Turks in a ship just due to "false info". Moreover, they used to supply defective military equipment to Turkey in order to ensure it being at a level below the Israelis
