If Russians are withdrawing from parts of Syria I think Turkey should hammer that rat . If Asshead is hammered those roaches in Ayn Al Arab and elsewhere would ran . By the way the majority of the refugees comes from his part.
Anyway may Allah SWT give victory to the Glorious Turkish Army. All my prayers are for them . Ya Allah Bismillah

MGK (National Security Council) chaired by Erdogan decided to launch a military operation in Syria. Opening moves are in motion. Turkish artillery started softening artillery barrages and troops are getting in position. Military operation will be similar to operation Olive Branch (Afrin) a slow and steady counter-terror operation with a big emphasis on keeping the infrastructure intact and suffering minimal losses.

Isn't the meeting today?

I'm like 90% sure that the reason US backs YPG is because of the, ahem, ideological alignment of people staffing the American government at the moment. Not really a surprise that support for them started under Obama, Trump tried multiple times to get rid of them and got blocked by others in the administration and then Biden jumps in and surprise, surprise, support for YPG is back on. That being said even US officials are starting to recognize that backing somebody so useless that they performed worse against ISIS than flipping Hezbollah might be a losing proposition so I'd wager YPG's days are numbered regardless.

In reality Ideology is opium for masses. There is Jacobin Cult and there are useful idiots ( sans cullotess) . It is just a destruction in order to create God knows what. When you follow all thes maniacs for some time you can see , more things apparently look different more in reality they are the same. Honestly it defies a logic of normal person. Swedish political out is similar to pkk. Communism is in a reality State Capitalism and Ofcourse Marx invented nothing, it was Robespierre. Trump and Kennedy tried to get rid of this but no such luck. This is the pure nihilism
Normal people would support Turkey if they want to have influence in Caucasus and Central Asia, normal people would support Turkey to stop " enemy " Iran, normal people would cooperate with Pakistan and Afghanistan and with all of that, they would be able to isolate China, Russia and Iran. That's pretty obvious . Normal people would had crushed Assad before Russians came and milions refugees wouldn't be in Turkey and Europe but seemingly more chaos there is better it is. These are very obvious things . Do you think that the top echelon of pkk is communists? Ofcourse not, sexual predators just like those unseen bums

Most of the time decisions are made before the MGK. They just go over the plans argue about how to implement them, and possible problems that might arise, and write a press note.

Every year the TAF conducts operations against those unibrow transgenders. They kill some rats and bomb their caves with new weaponry for about 4 weeks and they stop and the PKK refreshes and regroups, and next year the same song again. And this is goimg on since 1993.

The TAF is like a barber who gives a haircut to the same customer every two weeks. Its time to cut that head off.

It seems like initially Tal Rifat and Manbij area will be targeted. Another front can be opened east of the Euphrates to link the areas west and east of the Euphrates. YPG is negotiating with the US to at least station some troops in Ain Al Arab(Kobane). Local sources report that TSK representatives warned the Iranian militia near Aleppo not to cooperate with YPG forces in Tal Rifat and Manbij. TSK will treat those as hostiles if they don't behave.

This slow pace gives the russians and americans time to regroup even block our path.

Disappointing.

Any new news about the new operation in Syria?

Like has it started or are they still positioning the forces?

It will start after the most of Claw-Lock operation in Iraq finishes (it goes on for a while shouldn't be too far from finishing). Tel-Rifat, Manbij and Ain Al-Arab(Kobane) are the targets. This will secure the western Euphrates and link Turkish-controlled territories. The ultimate goal is to establish a 30km corridor on the whole Syrian border. 30km is a mean distance it might be higher or lower than that at some places due to geography.

I dont want to stray off topic.

But the Seljuk Turks actually had plans to conquer Egypt rather than Anatolia until the Byzantines attacked the Seljuks with provoked attacks on their empire.

Now think of how different foreign policy would be if the Seljuks conquered Egypt.

Would modern day Turkiye be in Modern day Egypt?

Lots of historians discussed Egypt came close to be Turkifed of it wasnt for the Byzantine Empire.

Seljuk Conquest led to huge numbers of Turks moving into Anatolia.

Now imagine huge numbers of Turks moving into Egypt. In other words Egypt nearly close to being Turkic land rather than Arab.
You would have genetically Oghuz Turkic+Egyptian folks esp in the lower nile delta but with Turkic ancestry decreasing North to South just like how you have Turkic ancestry peaking in Western Anatolia (Not just oghuz but weird Crimean Volga stuff esp in Balikesir/Mamara area) and the Med coast. The Med Coast/Antalya have the highest Oghuz ancestry in Turkey but not the highest turkic ancestry because they just have Oghuz ancestry.
I think Anatolia was just more nature accessible to Turkic people than Egypt because its proximity to where major Turkic polities existed in both Europe and West Asia. You had the Khazars just north of Byzantium in the 900s, you had Huns besiging Constantinople in the 500s AD, you had Bulgar presence in Thrace before the just being absorbed into the South Slavic population, there were Cumans in the steppe Zone north of NE Anatolia and thats just during the pre Seljulk/Ottoman period. During Ottoman periods esp declining years of tje 19th century, you had Turkic migration to Anatolia from Tsarist Russian or Othodox European domains just across the black sea as well as allied muslim minorities like the Circassians/Bosniaks.
