Islamists, Western Liberals, Commies and Christians all believe we gotta save a society from itself.

Instead make things worse.

Im born in Australia to Turkish parents now imagine me going to Somalia or the Amazon trying to save the people from themselves.

We dont know anything about the country itself or its society.

Turkish foreign policy should not be dictated by high horse bs or trying to save a society.

Who cares if Africans live tribal? We can still trade ask them what they can offer that benefits us rather than changing their societies.

The truly wise will find leading by example and setting an example yourself is the opposite of making an example out of another.

The latter (no matter in rare cases it is well intended) will drift to recklessness and actually illustrates you do not believe in vitality of your own progress to simply stand sufficiently by itself (and for others to recognise and follow themselves on their own free will cognition).

It is important to keep your honour clean in the pursuit of truth, or you will quickly go in circles and even backwards.

the face of the emir of Qatar and his smile of joy. This man has done so much for the Muslim world. If Turkey and Egypt become allies in the medium-term (of which I am sure of), EU will be in big troubles. A giant in the Muslim world will rise and put the liberal Europeans in their place.

Lol you are kidding right ?

Both Turkey and Eygpt are way way far from being an Islamic country .

Shaking hands with Assad while killing his troops with air strikes. Nothing can be better
Are those Assads troops though? There are various militias that defend Assad but do not necessarily take orders from him.

The expected news has arrived. This guy is definitely sick and needs treatment

Lets see what sort of memorandums will be signed tomorrow between Egypt and Greece

I will be crystal clear that no re-approachment with Egypt is useful unless Egypt stand with Turkey regarding the EEZ issue; whether Sisi will betray his western masters, France, or not is a question to be yet answered and a picture of handshake between Erdogan and Sisi isnt enough at all

Turkish military bases abroad.

Interestingly I dont see the Qatar flag there is a military base there too.

We have Turkish soldiers posted in Azerbaijan, Libya, Bosnia and Kosovo.
Qatari flag is unclear but it's under the Azerbaijan slightly to the right, Also Somalia.

The map no wonder so many idiots cry about Muh Ottoman Empire.

I tell you one day the Turkish republic will surpass all of its predecessors.

Also protecing interests both internal and external does not mean any revival of an empire.

Empires have been dead since ww1 and ww2. Times have changed.

Why does Russia all of a sudden want its empire back.

Russians and their stupidity of taking their long lost lands is because they have not moved with the times.

You know why Russia does not have any economic power to do indirect rule or engage any kind of neo colonialism to carve out its own sphere influence.

Hence why they feel the need to constantly take territory while trying to get as much warm water ports as possible.

Russia's mentality of conquering and taking lands is what led to their Ukraine debacle.

Russia could have been stopped earlier if the world had balls when it came Chechnya and Georgia.

While turning a blind eye to its expansion into Africa and Syria.

People think Turks or Russians have this nostalgia for their empires when its seen in France and the nostalgia of when USA was the strongest country in the world.

I think any country who has a glorious past will no doubt live a sense of nostalgia.

I know people try to overhype the neo Ottoman Empire coming. Thats all just news to sell off papers and to trigger gullible liberals.

Any nation with political, economic and military power will try to defend its interests no matter what.

If people realised when Ataturk took Hatay back such news was there and Cyprus this was all before Erdogan.

What makes its dishonest is how the British press published a paper Empire strikes back.

People think Turks or Russians have this nostalgia for their empires when its seen in France and the nostalgia of when USA was the strongest country in the world.

While Russia has clear aspirations of empire and is nearly always the instigator when it comes invading other nations, the Turkish state is very different. Everywhere we are moving is in reaction to others hostile intent against us. Cyprus 1974 is a good example. The greeks broke all agreements and attempted the illegal annexation and genocide of the entire Turkish cypriot population, now Turkey owns half the island. We didnt want that, but the greeks forced our hand.

In Libya we see a similar game, the europeans, russians, egyptions, syrians, isrealis etc were all ganging up together against Turkey to restrict her of her maratime rights. As a result we moved into Libya to break their plans. So now the Turkish army is in Libya.

In Syria and Iraq we have the PKK and its offshoots we have endured decades of terrorism stemming out of those regions, now the Turkish army is in both states and as long as the PKK continues its the long term outlook is Turkey will take control of the entire north of both nations.

Armenia with their Russian and Iranian backers were not only pushing to take Azeri land but were making grand claims that they were going to take eastern Turkey, well now they got crushed and Turkey is deeply entrenched in Azerbaijan.

So to cut a long story short, Turks are not looking for empire and no one looks at these expansions as good things, they are perceived as necessary things to protect the welfare of the Turkish state.

So if they keep wanting to harm us, to discriminate against us, you will end up with a new Turkish empire 50 to 100 years from now.

What im implying its not just Turks and Russians who engage in Nostalgia.

Americans, French and the British also engaged in their fair share.

Also Turkiye is a regional power in geopolitics. People have to be dumb to believe Turkiye would just stay put and do nothing especially when its interests are threatened or its homeland when its under siege.

In today's world, the Empire and Dynasty nonsense and illusions are over. Today, the aim of those who dream of an empire is to establish a dynasty. I hate all monarchies and dynasties in the world. The main thing is democracy and republic.

Indeed era of empires are dead.

In the future I strongly believe monarchy will collapse.

Nobody wants to be ruled by a royal family whoch believes they are appointed by God while living in a social class that only benefits them and noble families.
