It is hilarious to see the EU is self-destructing itself because of Greece and Southern Cyprus. EU will either grow up or be squeezed between the US, Russia and China.

I fail to see how EU is self destructing because of those 2 states.
Europe doesn't give up on Ukraine, it certainly can't abandon 2 MEMBER states to maximalist demands from an outside power,that's a severe no go.

EU GDP and the US GDP were similar back in the day. Fast forward today, the EU GDP is half of the US GDP and China boomed in that period while EU is stagnated. Those 2 powers out competed the EU and it will be even worse in the next decade.


Greek demands are maximalist, not the other way around, get your facts straight.

I'm not as familiar as I should be with the Greek-Cypriot-Turkish triangle,so,I'll try not to be very argumentative on this( I know the historical facts,geographical ones,etc but it does require more indepht study).
That being said, you're right on what you've said, on those economical parameters,but,all is far from lost.If the EU should give up,upcoming players like Turkey, and basically everyone else should just lie down and die.
No,there's still wealth, knowledge, tremendous capability within Europe to fight on,to come back.If we can't do it,NO ONE can do it,and the world will be split between US and China.

If a block of 450 million people (excluding close allies as Norway, or the UK), with a GDP per capita of over 43k (Turkey is at 15.5k),with companies like Airbus, Leonardo,Thales,ASNL,Rheinmettal,MBDA,Spotify ,Lidl, Aldi, Carrefour ,BMW,Eutelsat, ,etc,etc ,with its own space rockets,(Ariane),is already defeated and dying....you might just give up on everything now.

There is no benefit in producing in the EU when its not feasible in terms of energy costs.
If the gas pipeline from Algeria becomes a fact then the EU has a chance,if not he is right.
Or,the war ends and cheap Russian gas flows back to Europe which can take years by the looks of it.
Greek/Cypriot issue will stay a hurdle between Türkiye and the EU until they give up and see the bigger picture.

That comment is because Europe cares more about LGBTQXYZ shit then having active armies.
Do you know in which shape European armies are or you want to act like everything is ok?
German,Dutch,Belgian.Danish,Cech,Slowak,Bulgarian armies are ''none'' existant.
UK has a navy,France has an army and navy so do Italy/Greece and Spain.
Poland has an army(most ready of all).
Dont know about Romania and Hungary,
There is no European army so when people say ''Europeans cant fight'' there is some truth in it.

Take Romania....19 million vs Turkiye 86....49 F16,s,54 Himars,400 or so modern Apc's, 82k professional soldiers(no conscripts),etc .....multiply that by a factor or 4.5.I can go on by country sizes...
Yes,improvements are needed....things are changing, but Russia struggles in a 1000km2 areea for 3 years.
EVERYONE is going to fight, if the fight comes at their doorstep.

If you would have done a survey in Ukraine 2012,it would have been the same.When the proverbial shit hits the proverbial fan,things change.
No one will go to war in Ukraine, that's true, things change if problems come closer to home.
