Why are there so few mosques in Greece and Turkey has hundreds of churches if not thousands of them?
How does the Turkish and Ottoman state officially recognize the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople since 1453?We also home their pope. Since Mehmed the conqueror freed him in 1453 and gave him back his titles and status within the Christian world. Cathlics basically treated orthodox christians as no more then slaves.
