This is not a Marketing stunt. This is the first test flight of a manned aircraft. A lot of risk is involved. You never paint the aircraft on a first test flightWould it have killed them to have painted the plane they paint the mock-up but not the actual plane, TAI sucks at marketing.

That doesn't translate, as the ugly camos are specifically designed to mislead people regarding how the car will actually look.View attachment 56563
Why does Ferrari use such ugly camos.
Even in press releases car manufacturers dont even use the official paint.
I don't get the point of being salty here (I think you get what I mean)Would it have killed them to have painted the plane they paint the mock-up but not the actual plane, TAI sucks at marketing.

Hürjet having its first flight with its factory paint is normal, nothing to get worked up about.
As per my knowledge the production of the second prototype isn't scheduled to start until the completion of CDR. This prototype will fly.By the looks of it, the TF-X shown might only be a ground test unit and the one currently in production will be the one flying.
@MADDOG, can you confirm?
