Gonna be honest after all the hype our firms made in 21 to wait for 23 it is pretty meh this year.

Funny enough Tübitak was one of the main firms who said 2023 the real show will take place and then they didn’t even participate. Ironic. 😂
They have not participated for a reason. :)
You are free to make any guess but it is the same show we have seen in 2000s.

We do not need to promote our in-development critical defense products as we do not intend to sell them just yet.

I think that those high tech missiles like AKBABA, GÖKHAN and GEZGIN will only be sold to countries like Azerbaijan. So why should TUBITAK attend a defence fair and exhibit products, which most of those visitor countries will never get?

Presenting another argument.

Those 1st tier defence products would signal that Turkiye is a top notch quality defence producer. This would help convince Japan, SK, Singapore, South Africa, South American Countries and Southern European countries to buy Turkish products available for exports.

In short, the would help open up new markets with greater purchasing power who are currently reluctant to purchase from Turkiye.

that being said, I agree. It is wise to not show the latest and most secret weaponry

Some of those countries will only buy from the US.

Goktug, kuzgun, kayi, guidance kits, esm-ecm systems and bunch other projects that will be beneficial for the industry.

+ plenty of test facilities that would be beneficial for customers who needs to pay loads of money for system verifications.

What an absurd argument, why would Roketsan or others exhibit technologies that are secret and should not be obtained. You just put a mock-up of the missile's general frame there. For example, don't we know the general framework of meteor and tomahawk?

MBDA brought a mock-up of its new high-altitude ballistic missile defense capability to idef23, but they cropped out the important parts. For example the pif-paf system....

I still remember some people argued with me that Pars IZCI 8x8 was just Pars III 8x8 when I pointed out that they were posting the wrong pictures of the project and procurement then.

Guess I was right and Pars IZCI is not just Pars III 8x8. Oh well :).

I really wonder why FNSS go with the PARS IZCI design and not the regular PARS?

Army also seems to favor the IZCI as well. (First they bought the 4x4 and now they are getting 6x6)

In the class of high-speed missile boats, Yonca-Onuk is just like the supercars of the automobile world. Kind of Ferrari or Bugatti of naval world. They offer superior standard-setting specs in a highly efficient design package, with outstanding after-sales assurances.

That argument works for Eastern Europe, Africa and South America.
However, SK and Japan already has similar programs running, so I don't think they would be interested in procuring them from aboard.
