Indeed im not disagreeing here.

Its just interesting with the whole cultural revolution and how the communists destroyed Chinese culture and civilisation while at the same time CCP uses Chinese history as a way to legitimise their claims of territorial expansion while at the same time promoting themselves as anti imperialist.

Glad, we have a agreement that CCP are nothing but Rogue communists.

You are forgetting that the Yuan and the Qing dynasty ruled Tibet. Eventhough both are not Han Chinese. Still does stop the Chinese from claiming them as Chinese and their territory as Chinese.

I understand your point there. They were mongols who ruled china & Tibet at same time. While Tibet was handed over to mongol appointed Dalai lama & declared independent, china remained under mongols for some time till they were militarily strong to fight mongols and take it back. This musical chairs have happened a lot in Chinese history per se.

Still Tibet was majorly ruled by respective religious heads called Dalai lama only . In fact Tibet was centre of Buddhism once and was visited by various Hindu schoolyards My point is that ultimately everybody was ruled by One of other at any given point of time & on those points. One can;t claim some thing because they were ruled some xyz in 2nd century BC. should not mongols be claiming whole china by those standards.

Ultimately, In modern world, People have picked their leaders. Why don't china let Tibetans decide on their fate , What claim do they have on Formosa. Same way , their claims in SCS . It,s their expansionist agenda and heritage of being a tribe once which do not lets them sit idle and look for fight always. Real native Chinese are Pushed to Formosa / Taiwan & Rogue CCP have a dispute with almost every neighbour except Pakistan for obvious reasons.

> India can make claim from Afghanistan to Burma as all were part of former British Empire.
> China themselves was ruled by Mangols somewhere in 13th century while tibet was independent at that time.

China sees the Dalai Lama as the greatest of their enemies who they cannot overpower, said Geshe Dorji Damdul, the former interpreter of the Dalai Lama who met US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on his India visit.

Geshe Dorji Damdul met Antony Blinken in New Delhi as a part of a civil society delegation. In an exclusive interview with India Today TV, Geshe Dorji Damdul, who is also the director of Tibet House in New Delhi, said, "China sees the Dalai Lama as the greatest of their enemies who they cannot overpower. Most importantly, the common people believe that the world is behind the Dalai Lama and not China."

Geshe Dorji Damdul also called upon democratic countries like the US and India to come together to ensure that China does not continue with its aggression. "India is an incredibly huge country which has inherited the principle of Ahimsa and the US is the champion of democracy. So these two countries must come together and see how much they can implement this universal ethics as envisioned by the Dalai Lama in the education system," he said.

On the Chinese aggression in Tibet, Geshe Dorji Damdul said, "Tibetans are under the gun. If you say anything about the Dalai Lama, you are arrested."

"When Xi Jinping (Chinese president) visited Lhasa (Tibet's capital) recently, people welcomed him with fear. When the representatives of the Dalai Lama visited Tibet around 20-30 years ago, you could see how people just took out their hearts to welcome them. Even the common people in China visited to take their blessings," Geshe Dorji Damdul said.

On China's warning to the US over its meddling in the Tibet matter, Geshe Dorji Damdul said, "If the world is not seeing things that are well ahead of time, then what happened to Tibet can be repeated in many other countries. And then the world may regret."

"Eventually, the expansionism of Communist Chinese can really go out of control. If it (China) militarily and economically goes ahead of America then the world would be in their hands," he added.

The meeting between a Tibetan leader and the US was the biggest after the 2016 meeting between then US president Barack Obama and the Dalai Lama in Washington.

On his maiden India visit, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, and NSA chief Ajit Doval in Delhi. Secretary Blinken appreciated the increasing convergence between India and US on a wide range of bilateral and multilateral issues, and the commitment of both strategic partners to convert this convergence into concrete and practical cooperation.

Not sure why certain gathering of Indian members (current crop seems to be: ( @Jackdaws @kumata @Raptor ) engage the resident han supremacist clown.

He is doing damage (on his own time spent) if you leave him be....rest of forum sees his manner of boorish spam volume setting and give him appropriate distance (evidenced by interaction and reaction score ratio).

No idea what you get out of interfering with this mistaken approach that he has long doubled and tripled down(and becoming a laughing stock for everyone else).

I mean do you guys have basic idea of what/where/why/how the wumao inferiority complex comes from in largest way w.r.t current era (post WW2) manifestation?

Do you know what the exact DNA (and DNA mutation) is for this type of pig-headed middle kindom supremacist complex (esp. given the time spent on multiple fora by same guy and others of his ilk)?

If you do not understand that (will be interested to see if you do though), there is then especially no reason to get stuck up on what the wumao wants you to get stuck up on.

If you do not know the size, scope and reason of the void's existence (and I bring it up in this thread as it is some part relevant to it)...you will not understand the obstinate forces seeking to fill it...and you end up being just mingling and swirling among it instead of letting the big picture reaction this type to be.

If he mentions India in thread subject, then there is some reason to engage (within forum rules, and report when he strays) and I would say only then.

Otherwise I say just let him be and let him stay as laughing stock loner for everyone else.

Everyone can see exactly what he is up to and how desperate he is....and level of free time at disposal (across multiple fora), if he is even one guy to begin with.

I don't exactly know what everyone's version of fun is...but I would suggest there is no need to waste it on him/them.

He/they has/have reaction score 1/4th of post count for a reason....it takes real negative presence to have it that low at that posting volume.

It is of great pity that a knowledgeable wise Chinese was not the first to make appearance here instead of what we are saddled with.

Please try take leaf out of book of the Turks and Indonesians on this forum who have interacted with him before (in previous laughing stock clownworld forum) and simply moved on to better pastures of effort.

I have a feeling its related to true number of casualties at Galwan from their side.

The field officers etc apply pressure upwards for recognition of those under their command sacrifice.....it eventually accumulates at the highest level due to downward squelching originating from there.

Let us see if this pattern continues I guess.

Something similar happened for 10+ years regularly (in theater command constant replacing) after the disastrous war with Vietnam in 1979 (due to sheer number of casualties sustained by PLA)....and I am sure similar happened w.r.t Ussuri conflict with Soviets (this just got totally buried due to cultural revolution).

It could also be part of smoke and mirrors policy so India doesn't get used to dealing with one guy.

Any case India must stay resolute....I think they didn't expect this or the flare up itself (i.e some breakdown in their command chain).

Looks like Corona Xi and his cronies are confused between a nuke test and a ballistic missile test.

Link

China hopes all parties in South Asia, including India, will make constructive efforts in maintaining peace and stability in the region, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said on Thursday in response to India's plan to conduct a trial of intercontinental-range ballistic missile that covers Beijing and other Chinese cities, citing the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1172. The resolution condemned India's nuclear bomb tests in 1998 and demanded it to refrain from engaging in further tests.

India is set to conduct its first user trial of nuke capable intercontinental-range ballistic missile Agni-V, the Indian Express reported. The 5,000-km range missile is likely to be flight-tested on September 23, and is capable of hitting targets in all Asian countries and parts of Africa and Europe.

Another Indian media outlet swarajyamag.com said that the missile "will bring Beijing and many other critical Chinese cities within the range of Indian land-based nuclear weapons for the first time, establishing a credible nuclear deterrent."

Responding to India's latest provocations, Zhao Lijian, a spokesperson of Chinese Foreign Ministry, said at the Thursday's press briefing that maintaining the peace, security and stability in South Asia is in the common interest of all parties, and China hopes all parties will make constructive efforts to this end.

"As to whether India can develop ballistic missiles capable of carrying nuclear weapons, the UN Security Council Resolution 1172 has made clear provisions," Zhao said, citing the resolution that condemned the nuclear tests conducted by India in May 1998. The resolution also demanded India to refrain from further nuclear tests, and immediately stop its nuclear weapon development programs, ballistic missiles capable of delivering nuclear weapons and any further production of fissile materials for nuclear weapons.

Bad history.

It was not because China was under Mongol rule under the Yuan, and Tibet was also under their control, that China claims Tibet. These claims arose at different points of time; it must be seen concurrently with the attachment of Gansu and Qinghai with China proper.

Regarding the Dalai Lama, this is a post of strikingly modern origin. The Mongols responsible for elevation of the Dalai Lama to his present eminence were the Dzungarians.

And so on, and so forth.

New Delhi:
Vice Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General C P Mohanty today said that if India wouldn't have invested in its armed forces, then the country would have lost the battles in Galwan and Doklam.

"Had the country not invested in security, we would have lost probably the war in Kargil, Doklam. Even internal security in Jammu and Kashmir would have been in turmoil. Our northeast region would have been in turmoil and Naxals would have had a field day," Lieutenant General Mohanty said at an event.

Responding to arguments on expenditure on armed forces, he said, "If Tibet had strong armed forces, they would have never been invaded."

Lieutenant General Mohanty also said the incidents in Doklam and Galwan has not only enhanced the prestige of the nation but has given the country a ''big stature'' in the international arena.

He said, "Today everybody talks about India as the net security provider and it is a security umbrella against a big nation."

Lieutenant General Mohanty added that Indian armed forces are a symbol of national integration as they rise above ethnicity, caste an

He highlighted that Indian armed forces do not have any political aspirations and respect the politics in the country.

"There have been other examples where the military leaders had political aspirations. The Indian Armed Forces have no such aspirations, we respect the politics here," he stressed.
