Rather learn to do own research and believe in yourself .
That's a bit difficult, considering the nature of the accident, and the absence of any facilities for walking up to the boat and asking to look around. You do understand we are not talking about a scooter accident.

Fake news from The Hindu is difficult to believe.

When asked, people still in service pursed their lips and refused to comment. There was no vehement denial.

India media is horrendous. They probably took the actual report from a source and added the 'hatch left open' themselves.

The sub was damaged , *maybe* there was some sort of breach , but not because someone left a hatch open .

the hindu even said that the submarine was sunk
No, that is not what I remember reading. The report only said that there was extensive damage caused by water coming in. It was my assumption that it was through a hatch, as it is difficult to understand how else water would get into a nuclear powered submarine.

You are right. The hatch was my own extrapolation, and, in view of what people are saying, clearly not the case.

Well the design goes against the claim of the hindu.
If you were wise, wouldn't bet so much on a trash newspaper though
Perhaps I am not wise. But then, I wouldn't bet too much on an unknown quantity like you either.

But getting info on basic design of arihant sub from open sources , checking design of its russian counterpart used for design consultantion , applying your brain on why would authorities won't disclose details , either they are kept in dark too due to strategic nature of given system , it could have been kept out of service for integration of some system which wasn't added earlier , could be some communication system , or integration of newer missile system , could be anything

I understand.
Your approach is - nothing could have gone wrong, so it must have gone right, it must have been subterfuge.
Of course, the vessel was never made to undergo integration of some system that wasn't present earlier; never had anything done to its communications systems, and never earlier had integration of newer systems done to it. So on this occasion, instead of attending to things in a normal fashion, it was necessary to spin a story around it.
Makes perfect sense.

If something had gone wrong then it would have been easily exposed through tenders issued

Now why didn't I think of that?
Anytime we need to know what's going wrong with Pakistani or Chinese programmes, all we need to do is to scan for tenders.
Goes without saying that the opposite applies, Our nuclear sub status is known at all times by the tenders that we issue for it.

Surely but do you know , you need a bit of connection to read those tenders , any sensible person would know that you need key to open some encrypted documents unless you are hacker , and yeah status of Chinese programme can be traced by that , Pakistani programme are basically paint job. , Check for the order of green paint and quantity and you can track their progress .

The trouble is, with their extremely limited resources, with their shallow technology, they still manage to take sensible decisions, quickly, and they are ready. We are not. That is the essential difference, wisecracks about paint notwithstanding.

All I can say is that this once again underlines that Pak has 0 democratic cred. No PM ever serves out full term. There is always some kind of Armed Forces engineered coup.
